Does Thaumaturge increase healing spells?

I have tested this on my Sorc and my resto staff spells were not increased in potency. I know healing is based off your spell power, but is the Thaumaturge stat only effecting magic damage? I would just like an answer from the veteran players of ESO who might have already tested this on PC with numbers.

Magic damage is real magic damage, such as Crystal Shard, soul assault and Radiant Destruction. But no elemental spells and no healing. It's not spell damage.

So no, healing is not affected by this.
    Auri-El is my lord,
    Trinimac is my shield,
    Magnus is my mind.

Thaummaturge does not affect ordinary healing spells I.e. resto staff. It does however have indirect effect to class spell healing that heals based on damage done if that is magic damage, i.e. sorc Surge and NB's Funnel health - buffing your spells to do more damage returns more healing, healing itself is not modified.
