Why does it seem like noone cares about playing the game?

Here on NA Ps4 it seems like people are more interested in making fake money rather than playing the game and having fun with it. I've tried multiple guilds and i always end up in what happens to be a trading guild. Maybe i am just unlucky and keep getting trade guilds to find me, but it seems like i can never find anyone serious enough and/or organized enough to run end game material with... Theres a lot of people in PvP, but not so much PvE..

While I'm not on console I see plenty of "players" who seem to be marking time waiting for the "next great thing". Of course on PC that's IC for many but I see plenty of WfW (Waiting for Wrothgar) comments in the zone and guild chat. So hopefully things will pickup soon on console.

I think you just haven't found the right people yet. I'm on PS4 EU server and it seems like everyone I know is constantly doing end game stuff including myself. I run vet dungeons and normal / Vet dsa daily, constantly doing group questing in craglorn, trials, pledges, etc. hopefully you find some like minded folks soon, good luck !

Ya i ended up making guild with my buddy i play with in other games and it ended up being trade/farm guild. Guess i'll keep looking. Hopefully something pops up!

I can only speak for myself but joining an rp guild was the best decision I ever made. Always something going on. Outside of rping we are constantly completing dungeons, pvping, and just having a great time in general. Most of the guys I run with are top notch when it comes to both pvp and pve content. The rp just adds that extra something to where there's never a dull moment. Not sure how that community is on console though. Text chat is like a must.

I can't RP over voice on consoles. The thought of it makes me cringe. Text chat is very necessary for role playing and I miss it.

I have thought the same as you for weeks now. I would bet most of those people will be gone a month from now and finding a solid group of guildies to run stuff will become easier.

My favorite is when you see people just go slamming the button on the dialog screens for quest and then you hear them asking how to solve puzzles our where to go/find the next part as they never read the quest window or listen to the quest giver lol..

Because on console we don't have text chat yet, therefore it makes it almost impossible to find a decent PvE team. I will not bother with PvE until we get text chat.

What tends to happen to players are your habits tend to lead you into similar interactions.

The next player may have a completely different perspective.

Try getting out of your comfort zone....do things very different than you have so far.
There are some other groups out there ppl in these forums and non forums goers....best wishes but don't give up finding some cool peeps

Once my guild gets going it'll be an all-purpose guild. It will not be just some trading guild for sure.

I agree 100% , grouping is a bad joke without text chat to form groups. Current situation is hang out at the Enclave and get trolled or maybe someone in one of the 5 guilds will wanna do it. A LFG text channel is so needed.

Because unfortunately Guilds in ESO are how the economy works. There is no Auction house or real Economy beyond that of being in a "Merchant Guild".

In addition most content in game is made for small parties of 1-4 people. Guilds have no real purpose or function in ESO beyond being a "Store". Because that's how the Devs designed them, contrary to massive complaint and wants from the Consumer and player base, and against the wishes of such.

There are a few RP guilds....

I'm on Xbox One, and kinda had a guild before the game was released to me. The group was on Facebook, and the leader Inboxed me there asking if I would like to join. Our guild actually talk to each other, plays with each other, and help each other.

The only negative is that we are Ebonheart, but I like Aldmeri much more.

I've had terrible luck with guilds too. They seem more concerned about getting a guild bank than much else. Then they go inactive. Maybe it's me and I kill the guilds I join.

Trading Guilds and PVP guilds are about all I can find as well. I'd have to agree part of the issue seems to be Guilds being connected to selling items peer to peer. I really miss the market board from FFXIV. It made that aspect of the game more interesting, IMO.

I personally dislike having to keep trading guilds on tab just to have the ability to sell items. I try not to think about it too much, however sometimes I wonder if ZOS didn't make trading clunky on purpose to artificially stretch content.

The simple answer is that there really is no end game PvE. So all the end game PvE guilds have gone off to play other games.
