What is a good price to sell the Imperial Motif?

Yes, I love it when players do that. I don't answer "PST Offers" because what they're really doing is holding a silent auction where they rig the price.
Where did you find the Imperial Motif? It's the only motif I don't have but after filling dozens of orders, I have never been requested to craft Imperial style. I'd say the estimates about 20-30k are about accurate.
Or they will let it under the current price and you will save some gold...your loss.

Alephen✭✭✭i bought 2 at 50k, the the day after i bought the econd i looted one. ended up selling for 45k. dont let it go for under 30k and then only for a quick sale.

had someone mock me when i was selling saying it is not worth more than 8k. i replied i would be glad to buy the one he is selling for 8k - no answer.
less demand yes, but more less supply than less demand. cannot be farmed = more valuable. at the rate i am getting motifs i will get over 75 daedric motifs before i get another imperial.

Barbaric: 10-15k
Primal: 15-20k
Ancient Elf: 20-25k
Daedric: 30-40k
Imperial: 40-50k
Reason being, Imperial is the rarest of the drops. Most folks are not planning their crafter in advance, thus don't take the imperial race(like I did) or cannot take the imperial race(didn't get collectors edition/upgrade).
So demand on Imperial is the over all highest.
Prices do change bout every week n half to 2 weeks. But mostly going down, because more motifs on the market, less folks buying.(Because they have it or folks have left the game)
With Imperial still currently in the hard to find motif.2 -

GunemCleric✭✭✭The next patch will be marking Imperial as Legendary items and the NPC motifs as Epic.
40k+ is a good price. I paid 40k for one a while back. Only purple recipes are more rare (or non-existent) and they go for 200k+ at vet levels.
To those saying you can craft imperial if you have imperial edition is a half truth. If and only if you are imperial race you can craft Imperial armor. Anything else without the imperial motif is a conversion and is bound to the player. Even if you can/could convert (not sure, but do not care) without being bound, why? The only reason i ever used the conversion was to make a set match.
It is bad enough to spend 52 days to research and make essentially single-use armor (set bonuses); making bound armor for anything other than low-level throw-away armor is a waste in my opinion.
As a crater who wants to have the character i wanted to play (i.e. not Imperial) i still wanted to make any armor that someone asks for.

A bag? Really? I thot they were only in trunks, chests & cabinets. Oh man, I've totally been missing out there! I never even bothered to check bags. Unless u mean backpacks. Wow. I've found 3 imperials, the first I sold for 800g. Somebody told me that was too low, so the next two I sold for 10k each.
Sounds like I could have been rich now if I'd known this!!

Wow, that's rather fascinating that there is such a drastic price difference between US and EU.
Here, normal motifs are usually 500-800
Deadric is usually 35k
P/B/AE usually 20-30k
I wonder why the major difference occurs.And so did many brave men, women, and beast fall to the end of Beta, never to be heard from again. All that is left, is whispers of the adventures they had.1 -
MigzPT✭At the beginning of the Game ( back to april ) Daedric Motif's were between 50-60K and Ancient Elf's 40-50K. And the other "rare" motifs were between 20-30K.
I still remember I bought 2 Rare Motifs, ( not Daedric or Ancient ) for 25K both
And I bought the Ancient Elf one for 45K + 4 Paladium0 -

Looting containers is labor intensive; you obviously have never spent time collecting mats to make armour and the like. It takes time, and finding motifs mathematically is no different; yes a small percentage may find it quickly but most won't.

I recall one of the patch notes' for test stating that they were going to change the rarity color of motifs to reflect their actual rarity.
1-9 are blue, Primal, Barbaric, Ancient Elf and Daedric are purple
Imperial will be Orange
My advice? Wait for the patch that does this before you sell it, orange links automatically quadruple the price :P0 -
Sharky20✭I finally acquired all the motifs.....so wonder when the next motif update will be so that we can craft better armor.....I must say tho, the Deadric armor looks horrible and they could have done much better with the looks seeing that this is such a rare motif. But still is a nice feeling to know that I can craft anything 0

Fleymark✭✭✭✭✭I wouldn't pay more than 10k for it personally and I would only do that if it was my last one I needed for a complete set. Still a couple of the rates to go so I'll let you know when I get there, I guess, but I've been very happy just looting them and trading the duplicates for ones I don't have, so far.
People that pay crazy sums of gold for these things are crazy, IMO.
