I wanted to use sweetfx and others. But always afraid I'll get the ban hammer...
I prefer less saturation, but also enjoy a higher contrast than what is offered in most games. Do you still have to force DX 9? I know with Win 8 and I am assuming Win 10 also, you had to force DX 9 for Sweetfx to work at all. the author of sweetfx never seemed to have the time to complete a new version that works.
Also eliminating the fog revealed some horrible poorly textured mountains the last time I tried it. I wish they would just make the fog a slider. It could stand to be pushed back, but eliminating it altogether would require some better distant LoD's.

I just used the Reshade program called "Mediator". It injected the file automatically. I chose DX11, set up an ESO profile and checked the \client folder and the dxgi folder was there.
Shut off Shadowplay to make sure it was not interfering as the instructions suggest but no dice.
I'm sure if I switched to DX 9 it would work, but there is something about my system and DX11+ESO+sweetfx that just doesn't jive.

I never used mediator. I'd go without it. Go to your usersettings go to - SET GraphicsDriver.7 "D3D9" to SET GraphicsDriver.7 "D3D11"

It already was. I've been through this before several months ago and it was hours of troubleshooting that got nowhere.
I have no problem using it for GW2 or LotRO but ESO causes problems.
On a day when I have more patience I may try again, but I don't want to spend all day trying to get this work. Been there, done that. Thanks for your help though.
