If it were possible to get a refund on IC, how many people who bought it would return it?

Let's say it were possible to get a refund within 3-5 days of purchase, because that's a reasonable amount of time to try it out and see if you like it. How many players do you think would want that refund.

Note: This is a hypothetical discussion, every post in this thread that says you can't get refunds is an indicator of a failure in your education.

No I would not get a refund.

And I'm not going to be so egotistical to call those who don't like it 'dumb'.... each to their own opinion.

Yes, it has some bugs... they will get fixed eventually...

Yes it has some deeply flawed design decisions... but many of those are around the base patch, EG 100% stam regen nerf, poorly thought out gear update (Jewellery), 50% damage nerf being too high etc.

But it does exactly what it was supposed to... mixture of PvE & PvP in a totally different environment to the wide open spaces of Cyrodiil.

If you read the forums alone then you'd think it was all terrible... it isn't!

I've tried running with a zerg.... solo... and also in a small group as was intended. All are possible, but as a small group its the most fun most of us have had in the game so far. Challenging PvE bosses, close quarters guerilla warfare with other groups of players... PvP where you can use the environment around you more...

I think it actually is making me think about my play a lot more as there is so much going on.

i like this patch and imperial city more then anything in eso so far, so, i would not want to refund. im enjoying it, only thing im upset about is not being able find the new Xilkyn Polymorphs costumes. and the imballances in classes in pvp and the slow sneak speeds.

Kind of disappointed, I guess ESo will go the route of Tera and have new gear set every 90 days soon the characters doing 5 million damage per hit just like Tera

Soon tank's won't need to tank, healers won't need to heal and everyone will just go full damage and spam spam spam.

I'm not a fan of grind based games and that's what eso has become. First the champion system which caused me to stop actually playing the content to convert my only toon into a stamina DPS just to grind champion points. Now we have the new telvar stone grind just to gear up... no thanks. Lost interest. Won't log in much from this point on till the game takes a new direction.

So far the IC PVE grind while watching your back mixed in with PVP is probably the most fun i have had in ESO. There is a risk vs reward system and excitement of not knowing whats going to happen. It requires alot of smart play.

Personally I think you are missing out.

The Champion system doesnt require you to do anything. its not ment to be a grind unless you try to turn it into that. Its ment to be a reward for playing and doing what ever you do wheather its PVP or trials

I'm with you on this. I'm totally not a PVP player, and I've only had 1 session in IC on live so far (it was about a 6 hour session) in a small group with some fellow PVE folks, and it was an absolute blast.

Now we did intentionally do it at a time when we expected the population would be fairly low, so we only ran into 1 true zerg (and got stomped), but we still had a bunch of small-scale PVP fights along the way, did some fun questing, took out a bunch of those mini anchor portal things, did some fishing (while about 2 dozen enemy players were fighting nearby), earned far more TV stones than we were expecting (we were expecting to lose almost all of what we earned), and actually managed to take down one of the district bosses (I don't think you're meant to try that with a group as small as ours - we each died multiple times as we slowly ground him down, and him healing several times along the way from 40% or so health back up to 65% or so didn't help).

I'm pretty eager to go back and finish up the questline.

I agree with @Pirhana7_ESO. The devs are constantly working to balance XP gain at all the activities so one type of play does not generate noticeably more experience then any other.
