Saddles for Mounts

I was thinking the other night about how awesome it would be to have saddles available to purchase for our Mounts.
Maybe they would even be craftable but I would love to be able to customize the look of them.

Each saddle could have different abilities: More bag space, faster movement, harder to be knocked off the horse, etc.

I don't think that it would require too much coding to be able to customize the horses skins. What does the rest of the community think?

[I know many think that there are many other bugs/errors that need to be addressed first before things like this. You have been heard in every other thread. Please refrain from bringing up this point.]

    I would love a whole equipment mechanic for mounts. New crafting lines. New motifs. New enchantments. The whole shebang!

    There are saddles that you can acquire via ledgerdemain. Maybe some day there will be a use for them.
    Due to a typo in the system, the area was accosted by the Daedric Prince Moar Lag Brawls.

    I agree. There are only so many mount skins out there, to be able to give them a little be of personalization would be great. I think that it would be really unique to be able to have your saddles with different "Perks/Passives."

    Customizable and dye-able mount saddles and upgrades would really add magnificent variety and fun to the game,
