Ive noticed unless I throw something that hurts a little I;

a) get no XP if the groups too large and

b) no lewtz

Just lots of love from the dps who get plenty of both and get to keep their stones

Supposedly loot distribution is random, but after doing nothing but heal for half hour and getting nothing it figured I was wasting my time.

So healing just became BoL spam (ok nothing new there :P ) with proxy, caltrops and spears. hmm

maybe its just me

    Depends on how many people you are running with. If you are in a zerg you may have a problem. If you are in a medium to small sized group, you shouldn't have any issues.

    Limit is 12 people getting stuff, on a mob/player in IC, including those outside group. Probably the issue. But, I got, a few tonight.
    Power level to CP160 in a week:

    Same. Gotta do the dps to get the loot. Shame really, ZOS may be making 2 roles extinct.
    Most healers seem to be putting more dps skills on their bars than heals out of necessity.

    On the positive side, there's no Mutagen-leeches as there is in overworld Cyrodiil.

    Yes. I thought I would test the god of randomness, after 30 minutes I decided to change diety

    and while it is true the group/s are normally more than 12+, surely it would/should apply to everyone in that group

    dont zerg - equal distribution among grpmembers is restricted to 12 players every one above those 12 has to be in the "contributors" list wich is most easily to achieve by dmging the mob.
    spelling and grammar errors are free to be abused

    I shall just have to be mindful of what herd of cattle I choose to stampede with unless its for the good of the ranch.

    Actually 2 v PVE in the sewers and some ungoldy hour of the mourning has proved to the most productive and entertaining.

    Actually, unless they changed the mechanic from announced, its MUCH worse to be in a zerg, but people dont realize it. This is from Rich Lambert on the ESO Live IC special, (timecode 56:28):

    You can have up to 12 contributors, (including those outside the group).... as long as you do up to 10% of the damage/heals,

    If you have 30 people beating on something, only 12 are gonna get something.

    Yesterday I was fighting against this Emperor Boss in the sewers and I even dealt a big amount of damage. But the kill didn't even count for me. I was there since the fight started and I did not get the achievement and no loot.

    Also when fighting against trash mobs, I'm only healing my allies and don't get tel var stones and no loot. I have to deal damage in order to get anything. Appearently at least

    I think they probably do, but lets face it, you have to have to numbers to protect against larger numbers during peak.

    Even if, lets say a pvp guild, runs 2 x 12 and they work together to protect the others interest, that's still 24 competing for damage/heals each encounter. Yet if they don't work together they run the risk of being run over by 20.

    Kinda of damned if you do and damned if you don't.

    This needs to be increased to unlimited IMO... think GW2 where everyone participating in an event gets exp and loot. All it does is *** off people who participate and get nothing.

    I agree, though fun is enough of a reward, people find total annihilation a giggle. stones,xp/ap who cares.

    some run in large numbers just for the kicks.

    Gankers won't stop ganking just because its now two wrecking blows and people are starting to run around more with a pocket full of detect pots and their little magic mage light on

    I've been healing and getting loot just fine so far. If your not getting anything and in a big group there might be healers healingmore than you are. I got loot off every single boss in the sewers yesterday that we fought, only dmg I do is heavy attack on resto staff

    Healers have long been at a disadvantage in getting loot. I remember running pledges and not getting anything other then the quest reward. Now it seems if you aren't top healer in these big groups or just focus on damage you aren't getting the return. I hope they adjust it but doubtful as it has been this way for a long time.

    With the group size limitation is it is less of a wonder

    I don't think my heals have ever been unappreciated unless they had no plans to take the flag.

    I hope this game does not turn into GW2....

    Where damage is everything and everyone runs full damage beserk builds, no healing or tanking ever needed...

    Just spam spam spam spam spam spam until dead, MAX DAMAGE!11!!1!1

    They need to get ahead of this and fix it, healers not getting rewards and tankers that don't tank...and if not doing enough damage, no rewards for them either..

    Everyone will just play full damage all the time..

    I noticed I can get around 1000 TV/ hour solo or in a small group (4 or less), but as soon as it goes above that amount your rate of return drops off quickly. It's actually a nice incentive to keep groups smaller. Also, if you run into a sweeper, many large groups struggle as the players who don't know how to fight them provide endless heals for the boss...

    Of course a larger group is generally safer so it's a trade off I suppose.

    As to healing, it is unrewarding as usual. Better off slotting some extra AoE's if you are in a large group.

    I do enjoy playing healer, I'm not saying that. I also like to run around solo if I'm feeling suicidal.

    I guess healing its helping others to play their way etc It also denies pvp reward and costly repair bills which are all good things.
