No need to answer that question.

we have all seen the circle zerg in the memorial district, but after experiencing more aspects and zones of the IC I kind of fail to see the point.
if you want TV stones farming mobs in the sewers is both faster and safer, and its so easy to go to the bank nobody takes the risk of going into a pvp encounter with their stones (lol) the new gear all drops from mobs which as I have states is more easily done in the sewers. AP is worthless now for the most part as well.
so after running around for about an hour in the memorial district I sat back and thought "what's the point?" I had mode no progress, actually I had set myself back cause I came with a few stones and left with none (lol)
I mean it might be different if combat was engaging at all but this whole update is such a zerg fest and its so random as to what skills are still decent or made useless by the cyro cuts. and with the nerfing of strategic tactics such as blocking, dodge rolling, etc. you end up just spamming damage and seeing who wins. (or joining a zerg and spamming your nearest and dearest AOE.
so. . .its kinda pointless?
IC was fun for about 10-12 hours of gameplay. I admit I played quite a bit already. Almost the entire time, I was having a ridiculously good time. But I really started to realize some things and sour on it. It sucks, I have been waiting for this since launch.
Maybe it will be more fun later. Right now, there is very little interest in farming TV stones. I have the v15 set I wanted legendary, and I am happy with the rest of my gear. Farming 50,000 stones to increase my set to v16 for maybe 2% more effectiveness is not a priority.
The RNG aspect of the trophy rooms is a little depressing, although I'm sure after a few months, I will accumulate a decent set.
The problem is, what to do for a few months?
All I really used to play was Cyrodiil. The sewer thing can be a lot of fun, but once I realized I don't have a burning desire for TV stones anymore, the whole thing became pretty repetitive. The city streets themselves define repetitiveness. They are just a weird CoD clone. At some point certain members of opposing alliances and my group just left each other alone, because it just got old. The quests, so far, were some of the most uninspired I have seen in the game.
Finally got tired of it, and went to Cyrodiil. No one was there, no big fights in my 2 campaigns. The load screens are terrible, and there is some weird video / net lag I haven't experienced before (IC was running fine: sewers and streets)
I was a big champion of gated access to IC, but even that I'm not sure would have helped.
If I don't care about tv stones, sewers, street fights, trophy rooms, pve in general, and Cyrodiil is dead, what else is there? I know this sounds like I'm playing the wrong game, but I played a few hours in Cyrodiil almost every night since beta.

That's why i would like to see a pvp progression that incentives also alliance points, with new alliance abilities and passives, currently after alliance rank 8 (alliance level 18) there is no more progression in that line, you fight just for the title. I relly big hope they focus also on that.
City District combat is useless, the guys you kill will come back for you 10 seconds later with full resources and you might still be in combat or recovering from combat and its neverending deathmatch.
Sewers however are lovely, ppl cant instantly respawn near you and monsters are fun, scamps and treasure chests and bosses are fun. All the nooks and crannies are good for hiding and escaping zergs.
Biggest issue I have tho is the damn ZERGblobs ppl run in now because small scale combat or 1vX is basicly impossible now with the new damage reduction so if ppl are bad and mess up, they still manage to heal up in time. Combat is far too forgiving and noob-friendly.
