Super bug in White Gold Tower Vet mode + review

Just did White Gold Tower vet mode with a power group of players.
First Boss I love the changes very good. Everyone agrees.

Planar inhibitor......(aka fire atro boss) super bug:
We wiped a couple of times, and then out of nowhere I get ticks from the fire DOT of 6.2k+ Non-stop I have one of the best healers in the game just spamming BOL and me spamming coagulating blood. I still die.
We wiped non-stop from that bug. We tried all kind of things, to no avail. Everyone else had max ticks of 2.2k I wore full heavy, full light whatever, stil did 6.2k after maybe 20-40 seconds. It doesn't matter if someone hits the punuon or if I don't. Once I hit the pinion and it strikes it's over. beginning or middle of the fight.

I was the only vamp dk and it happened to me only. The DOT just keeps increasing to a ridiculous amount of 6.2k tics which is impossible to heal.

Also the buff on the fight (increase speed of mobs spawn rates from portals during that boss fight)is kinda unnecessary to be honest. The fight is already one of the hardest. It just ramps the difficulty so far up the scale.

    Was sure it's a part of vet mechanics. This debuff is really strong but was managable on PTS if you perform correct strategy...

    We're working on fixing this issue now, and plan to get it into our next incremental patch. Thanks!

    Please fix this issue before it is released on console! "The next incremental Patch" can be 4-6 months.

    When I completed White-Gold on the PTS a while back, Heat Stroke was around 5k per hit at max strength. I still healed it fine, the other players cant be going glass cannon builds. They need their own mitigation, shields, and resist buffs.

    So 5k to your example of 6.2k seems logical since both were on veteran difficulty. 25% extra of 5k is basically right at 6.2k

    @Fat_Cat45 is correct. The damage from Heat Stroke is functioning as intended. If you allow Heat Stroke to stack too high, your character will be engulfed in blue flames and the damage per tick increases by a large amount. Vampires being susceptible to fire damage will naturally have a more difficult time keeping up with Heat Stroke.

    The fight is hard, and meant to be so. Its good the way it is. The last boss is arguably harder (especially on hard mode difficulty).

    This sort of a bug I can absolutely understand and is normal for new content like this to maybe have a bug or two. BUT....you guys have to wait until the next "incremental patch" to get it fixed. WOW...just WOW! So White Gold Tower vet mode is broken and unplayable for how many months?

    Why is it broken?

    It sems working normal, we did vet mode of WGT with hard mode 6 times so far and everything loks working fine. It was chalenging for the first time, we spended like 5 hours in it befor figured out all the tactics and boss mechanicks, but after you figure out tactics dungeon becomes more or less easy and takes about 40 min to finish.

    I have the complete opposite view.

    The last boss, even on hard mode, is not bad. The mechanics are simpler to learn, and the rotation is easy to get down. On the fire boss, you face a ton of RNG, none of which exists on the last boss. This RNG is a huge factor in the fire fight. If your tank gets portal duty... well... have fun with that. Also, portal spawns are random and can be very hard to close quickly. You need tons more healing on the fire boss than you do on the last boss. You also need tons more group coordination on fire boss than last boss.

    We had no issues on that boss, just activate the thingie in the middle fast enough.
    That boss does not require any tank because you have to swap aggro anyway.

    DPS #2 20k+ dps single target
    healer : 10k dps single target (while healing) and 24k+ BoL
    Tank: 10k dps single target on the first three bosses
    That's a power group in my humble opinion of course :)

    @Seiffer Can you please explain how the 'Efulgence' mechanic works? I am making a highly in-depth boss guide video to aid new players on this boss, I have twenty videos worth of boss fight footage with the same tactic where I take minimal heat stroke damage whilst taking this efulgence mechanic with no change to my damage taken via heat stroke (our tactic involves toggling between the tank and the healer in the initial phase before the 'blue' phase). In one video, using the same strategy and tactics as we do in all the other 20 videos I take efulgence damage after around 10 seconds after the second time I take the pinion and my heatstroke jumps from 1.2k (a normal rate with reasonable stacks shown across all my videos) up to 3.2k and then with a sear mechanic (which increases heatstroke damage) I jump to 3.8k. I continue to heal through this, with not 'tanking' the boss OR leaving the pinion open and the damage keeps climbing until I'm nearly at 5k ticking damage each 0.5 seconds from heatstroke. This continues for around 20 seconds until my magicka burns out and I inevitably die. I am a competent player and good player. I enjoy knowing the in game mechanics in-depth and after studying all my videos in detail there is not a single difference as to why my damage increases by this absurd amount after a mechanic that has so very little damage. The mechanic has never caused this effect before, even in videos where my stack ticks have been higher (before you say it, yes they are higher as a flat rate, I have the same armour and spell resistance buffs being on / not on) I can't even begin to explain what efulgence does or why this ridiculous damage increase occurs. Please explain this so called "not a bug" issue and the efulgence mechanic, because studying my footage I guarantee you it is near 100% seemingly a bug via activating a synergy or something else with the bosses mechanics and the player.

    I'm guessing Cleansing Ritual combined with lots of spellpower. I can achieve it myself.
