[BUG]Encase and its morphs are not working as expected/intended

yeso112860
While waiting for 150+ long queue for Cyrodiil I decided to test what @Dracane posted about encase during PTS encase-and-its-morphs-are-not-working-as-intended. This is kind of addedum to his post.
Case subjects: 3 Camels east of Sandy Path Wayshrine in Craglorn
Case 1: No target but all 3 Camels are it target area
Result: Nothing is hit

Case 2: Targetting middle camel all 3 Camels are it target area
Result: Only 1 camel (my target) is affected

Case 3: Targetting eastmost camel all 3 Camels are it target area
Result: Only 1 camel (closest and also my target) is affected

    Nice post and pics.

    Please take a look, Zeni.

We need our skills to work right.
Disabling the grass may improve performance.

Additionally in 1.6 you would maintain forward momentum after Bolt Escape. In 1.7 more often then not you will hit an invisible wall, then slowly fall to the ground effectively reducing its distance over time.

Also you cannot change the direction of your character while rooted, making it impossible to control the direction in which you Bolt Escape.

After the patch on Tuesday 9/8, casting encase will also stop my movement and lock me in place for a brief moment. This Stop-Motion is also happening with Bolt Escape. This is very annoying if not disruptive to my game play...

I'm not really certain about this, but lifestock is not a good subject to test this on. Usually I can't attack them with AoE effects, I have to deliberately target them or hit them with a basic attack. This would likely cause unusual behaviour for Encase as well.
Alandrol Sul: He's making another Numidium?!?
Vivec: Worse, buddy. They're buying it.

This stop-motion is occurring all the time atm.

@yeso112860 this is working . The reason you get those results is because camels are considered as critters. Critters that are targetted can get affected by your spell s/hit. If they are not targetted - critters, they are not affected. This is the same for aoe spells.

The spell is working and this is coming from someone that uses it.

And please for next time, before you bug report, use them on players and real mobs for real testing.

Thanks for heads up, I was not aware of the critter issue. On the other hand I did imitate just orginal posters actions to test.

As for testing on players, did I forget to mention about "waiting inline for Cyro"? I ignorantly changed my home campaign before patch and it got reset and I had to settle with guest campaign which had 154 players in line so I had to wait :) otherwise probably I wouldn't even bother testing a release versioned game :pensive:
