Vet Rank Issues and Suggestions?

I didn't rush through the game, I took my time and absorbed every single quest that EP had to offer. I totally immersed myself and LOVED IT.

However, now I've reached Vet rank I'm a little bit lost and confused. I'm hoping people can clear some stuff up for me (google wasn't my friend today)...

Craglorn: Group only? I got there fully prepared to immerse myself again only to find I wasn't allowed  I tried to group up with people but there seemed to be a lot of people aimlessly running around. I couldn't even 'ask' to group up for quests as my headset isn't behaving and there's no text chat (PS4, EU). I'm guessing no headset = no group. No group = no Craglorn?

Vet ranks in general: I keep hearing that the Veteran ranks are going to be wiped entirely "at some point", so I'm not feeling too motivated to continue with my character without know how that will change things. Is there any info on this? Will grinding become pointless for those higher level?

Quests: Finding the quest to start Craglorn required an internet search. I'm not sure if there's a runner or something that eventually tracks you down to let you know there's a dude in Mournhold or if you're just expected to return and come across him? I just found it a bit out of place. But that could just be me

Armour - I think there should be an costume or craftable unlock when you reach level 50. Only because it's a milestone for the character and I didn't feel like the actual reward for completing every single quest was enough (I don't even remember what it was...). My character's armour style hasn't changed sincle level 45, I think, so I don't know if the styles suddenly stop at 50?

I also feel like there's little interaction with other players when you get to Vet - again, this my opinion only! - and I find myself going back to Riften or Windhelm for my crafting or shopping. There's a lot more people and interaction there. I don't know why this is, though.

So this is everything that has been on my mind since getting to Vet. Please correct me if I've made any mistakes or misunderstood anything. Please also be aware that these are my opinions only and I'm not speaking for everyone. I wanted to open up a mature conversation about the pros and cons of Veteran Ranking and discuss any suggestions for changes when they are eventually removed

cragglorn is scaled for group combat that being said if you solo it will not be easy so find a partner for it.

as far as vet levels are they are increasing them by 2 lvls and so don't see them getting rid of them soon just because if they were going to then they wouldn't increase the level cap. they also said shortly after launch, from what ive read, that they will also be adding player housing and its been since 2014 a year in and still talks of it happening. so who knows when that will happen for levels haha.

I found the quest to find craglorn odd as well I mean being vet 1 and having acess to vet 11 is a tad "crazy" imo haha

the level 50 crafting is needed for vet 16 gear once ic comes to console sept 15 xbox/ sept 16 ps4 and if you are asking about the gear level there is gear from vet1-14 current soon to be vet 15 and 16 as well that can be found or crafted

    Congrats on being a veteran.

I think there is a lot of content to enjoy before you hit Craiglorn as that would be Vet 11 and seems pretty much for groups indeed. I have to go there to deliver the goods I craft for the writs (which is how I ended up in Craiglorn) and sneak my way around mobs to find some treasure. But after you have done Cold Harbor there still is lots more questing to do which also leads to Craiglorn.

I do not think Vet ranks are getting "wiped", I mean what is the difference if they call it level 60 or Vet rank 10 right?

For armor I am not sure what you mean but there is a lot of diguises to find, and you also will get rewarded some costumes when you rank up.

For the interactions amoungs Vets .... I am not much of the chatty type myself but did find a helping hand at a certain point where I really got stuck on a boss that made my virtual life hell ;)
I like eating sweetrolls and crushing skulls, and I am all out of sweetrolls.
