Then later on one AD killed me in the sewers.
Moral of the story? The jumping zergs don't always win now.Sweetrolls for all!

Sure, there are things that could probably be tweaked as time goes on. But overall, I'm really glad things got a boost! I started playing seriously after 1.6, as that's when my main entered VR ranks. Since then, I've completed most of the content (I'm a PvE-er) and things have started to become way too easy. Not only that, but theory crafting my gear/skills had become stale on my toons (I since have quite a few VR characters)... as it's felt like there is already a standardized 'best' for everything. So, I'm happy for new challenges, and new gear, and a new way to work around my skills. My main is a stamina NB- and so far the lack of ability to perma roll dodge/block cast/tornado has been refreshing. I have to think about what I'm going to do- manage my resources, the best times to roll/block, and attack. Yes, there will be adjustments made.... but I'm really looking forward to it.
The IC is a kick in the pants. The combo of PvE mobs and the potential PvP threat is totally fun. We were fighting a boss in the arena, and a red came in and ganked me mid fight. Did I think it was particularly 'fun' ? No... but what is fun, is having that extra challenge.
Learning new boss mechanics, what gear works best, how to dish out my CPs and collect new items is awesome to me. I'm sure things will only improve as players work out the kinks.
I feel like the complaints that are happening, is largely in part to players trying to play as they were before the update and getting poor results. It's a new world, learn to adapt! Don't get mad the same stale thing you did before isn't working as great anymore, and find a new way to dominate. (When I first went out on my toon, spec'd as she was before, it was horrific. I changed it up a bit, and now my DPS is actually better than it was before). I'm sure in a few weeks there will be new builds, strategy guides, ect ect to smooth over the currently angry players. I love the long grinds and the fact that I sometimes fail at stuff in the game. It makes me weirdly proud of my character in the long run.[PS4 NA]
