I decided to level up provisioning on my level 10 alt and I just hit 50. I was wondering, since I can't get into Craglorn until veteran rank, do I still have a chance to get the Psijic Ambrosia fragments from the daily writs?
I have received only 3 fragments from my L6 provisioner (and one of them was a duplicate!). I have also received a fragment from one of my L2 provisioners (unfortunately, also a duplicate). So, it is possible, but the drop rate is lower.
Good to know, thank you! No fragments yet on my level 10 alt. On my rank 11 main I got one so far in the week that I've been doing the writs.
Apparently the chance drops per writ level. So given the writ chance (for me) appears to be 1 in 50, so, if you use a linear multiplier increase, then a person doing Recipe Improvement 5 (RI5) Writs has a 1 in 100 chance but a person doing RI1 Writs has a 1 in 250 chance ie is likely to get one every 250 days. I can tell you that in the last 79 days, since it was introduced, my 2 RI6 Characters have gotten 8 Ambrosia Fragments and the other 6 non-vet characters have gotten none.
#Edit; Yes, I know that the numbers I quoted don't match the chance I quoted. In the last fortnight RNG decided to just dump 5 in my lap.
