Has ZOS completely broken stamina for tanks?

Just did the daily gold as a tank where you have to keep the 3 daedroths alive, oh my god what a nightmare. Before it was a bit of a challenge, but now 80% of the time I was running in circles because I had no stamina, and you can't block them when you don't have stamina, also you can't taunt them when you don't have stamina, therefore I was forced to run around in circles like a bloody chicken, waiting for my taunt to become active again.

I'm a full stamina tank as well, and now you've buggered my tanking! You should rename tanking to "Green bar watching simulator"

    Everyone is running for the hills now?

    I'm(or was)a stamina tank my self and its completely FUBAR!!! I am still wondering how I might still be a tank and its looking grim. But I did remember about the Undaunted skill called Inner Fire that is a magic based hate tool. How ever it dose cost 3529 magic.

    Having only played briefly on PTS it would be unfair to pass comment with the subsequent fixes/changes.
    I have my finger hovering over one button though at present.
    Anything that can be exploited will be exploited

    They should have done an RNG token system against blocking, where you can block indefinitely until you have X tokens against you. Each enemy strike would have N% chance of awarding a token. Then you can't block again for a short recovery period.

    That would simulate natural fatigue without breaking existing builds. Your blocking could be broken, but not predictably every time.

    Getting SOO sick of these idiot DPS classes saying how easy it is to regain your stam from heavy attacks or whatever...

    yes, its super crap now, DSA was a boring nightmare. Not sure if I should just change to a DK magic build it is that terrible.

    This is what i experienced yesterday.
    Ran some group content to try the new nerf and it was patetic. (DSA, Vet Dungeon and white gold tower)
    Since 2014 I was used to get aggro of 5+ at a time and sustaining my healt. now I can berely keep 2 aggro and I must play the resource management game all the time i was more worry about my healt/stam/mag than the actual tank job.
    I know its day 1 and we will adapt with the new sets (when i get 100k TV in a month) but think of the wannabe tank V1-13 they will just quit tanking and good luck finding one in a near future.

    I predict all dungeon will be like 3 DPS and a healer , *** off the tank they are not good for groups anymore

    lol, plus the nerf to armor sets..this is insane.

    So, i get no stam while I block, no 15% stam for WW, and now the armor set I use is going from this:

    This is what happens when you make PVP changes without regard to how said changes will affect PVE play.

    the no Stamina-regen while blocking should have been a Debuff that only applies in Cyrodiil.

    Another classic example of what happens when devs only listen to whiny PvPers. Thanks the perma-blockers in PvP and players crying about it, we PvEer tanks are less "tank" and more "run-and-hide behind a rock" now.

    I hear there are still some job openings for healers. But healing's going to be tough when your party tank is running away from the fight and hiding most of the time.

    Personally I had little problem with the Banished Cells Gold Pledge in terms of maintaining my Stamina and Health but yeah I still hate this idiotic decision ZOS has made and will be difficult for others to cope with these changes.

    It shouldnt have been implemented at all. It also ruins the dynamics of pvp play for more than half of players because it doesnt just effect stamina users and blockers it effects magicka users, especially considering this new snare cant get out of cc or roll dodge out BS on top of the no stamina while blocking.

    I'm very curious as to why they thought this change would work for the health and longevity of the game. In my first Vet BC ruin half of the group rage-quit when we had to keep picking the tank of of the floor. They certainly weren't considering PUGs when they made this decision.

    I was able to clear it with my core group, but did not fare so well in a group of strangers with little communication going on.

    Hahaha, its not only tanks but the whole damn stamina users.I just tested now and I am PISSED,they expect us to enjoy the game when we all are force to play as Harry potter (not gandalf the sage)instead of hercules .
    -The dodge roll cost as nerfed all the stamina users and the bow as become the weakest weapon of all(which heavily requires dodge roll).
    -Rally as become useless.
    -PvP is laggy like hell.
    -Pve as become hard as hell due to heavy nerf.


    If this continues then I am going to stop playing this game for good.(my first mmo game that I really liked)
    Edit: plz add a feature to nerf whatever you want in pvp only but not pve (I enjoy both pvp and pve but pve is for lvling up and lore ,while pvp is where the real fun starts .)

    The stam regen change is evil incarnate. Please fix what you broke.. and the mag regen issues? I hope Zeni listens to their player base on this one. 80% say they got screwed? That's a winner right there.
