Your characters' appearances or other players' characters' appearances?

Thanks, @GHOSTxFROSTY.Appreciate the proactive edit. We find that petition threads don't allow for good discourse and constructive discussion since they encourage empty "/signed" posts.
We are working on implementing a character recustomization tool (you'll often see people on the forums refer to it as a "barber shop.") It's a fairly complicated undertaking and we want to do it right, so it's taking some time, but we are indeed working on it.

If I May offer a suggestion, please make it in an indoor location and that the building(s) you get this feature in is a solo area.

- a "barbershop" in every major city that allows "everyday" changes like hairstyle and makeup for a mere gold cost. And then many adfditional options sold in the crown store (I remember some people wanting sai sahans beard for epic bearishness, or the morrowind-ish dunmer anime-like hairstyles...)
- and a "plastic sorcery provider" in some outlaw refugee or mages guild (possibly even in coldharbour, even, keep it a bit hard to get to, since at lowbie levels rerolling may still be a valid option after all) who allows "structural" changes like body shape, voice, even race (before the crying starts again, the game -does- have precedents, a alchemical concortion changes a dunmer into argonian trying for khajiit in greenshade, and a mystic goblet changes people into goblins in rivenspire...) for a crown cost.
- possibly even a third option for namechanges, like a clerk in your faction capital who for a small bag of crowns slipped in their palm will "update" your characters "official records" with a new name...
It may be a bit much to ask, but... would make things so much more fun, immersion-wise...
As for the recustomization mechanics, I also hope that instead of a gate price to enter the feature we might be allowed to get to the cost by adding a small crown cost per slider moved to a running total, to be paid when satisfied and clicking the "make it so" button.
As for the early design phase... this is a much wanted feature, so one hopes the ones coding might work on it faster! But... better to have it later and done well then something half-a... uhm... I mean... something suboptimal right now...

Not sure on the exact details yet! It's still in the early design phase, but we've certainly talked about the in-game option among other possible approaches.

The gist of this answer is awfully familiar.
Early design stages? So basically, you've done exactly zero work on the barber shop during the entire year we've been asking for it and you have no idea if it'll ever be implemented at all. Gotcha.ZOS_JessicaFolsom wrote: »RAGUNAnoOne wrote: »@ZOS_JessicaFolsom is it going to be like the Skyrim face sculptor, pay gold to enter a limited character customization window? also how will it work with vampiric characters?
