I was honestly surprised there wasn't already something inventory related in ESO+. I suppose having free crowns that you could purchase bag space or horse training with through the crown store might count. From a "how do we make ESO+ more compelling" I think this idea is quite good and probably would see a sizable increase in subs and retention.

Chiming in on the above arguments, if they made crafting bags and they allow people to carry enormous amounts of crafting materials as stated, most won't be unsubbing.

Personally, if I had a reason to stay subbed I would. This would be the very reason I would do a long term sub.

This will make money for ZOS by increasing the number of subscribers and long term subs while also not giving ESO+ members any advantage in terms of PVP interactions.

The people that may or may not have headaches for the unsubs are most likely people that just subbed to donate tons of stacks and unsub directly after. I do think ZOS would have no problem implementing a system to avoid that grief, but there will always be bugs with anything.

Why can't people just be happy and not have to understand how things work? Extra bag space will be nice to have and I am all for it. I think that having extra bonuses to drive players to want ESO Plus will only help the game live longer and help to make the game money to throw us more DLC which is what we all want.

How about ESO Plus members getting a working looking for group tool?

That would be cool in a game in 2015...

Still would like an explanation on how it will work, saying it will work like guilds isn't really an answer. Also will it be in crown store?

Instead of being part of ESO+ it should be something that can be bought from the bag guy for gold.

Now an extra couple of character slots would make more sense being part of ESO+ and like SWTOR you can pick the characters you would want to play if you unsub.

Like i said it is a very bad idea to be part of ESO+ with crafting bag. Just not very well thought out by saying it will be part of ESO+

You realize that the same argument could be made about the extra character slots. What happens to those extra character slots after you unsub? Honestly that feature would be more along the lines of buy once, not part something that should be subscription based. Not saying its a bad idea thought.

As for the extra crafting bags, I think its a very smart move on ZOS to add it as part of ESO+. As it currently stands not a whole lot of people will subscribe being that the only benefit is the 10% buff. Plus that and many free to play games have already done this. I mean if you just look at runescape for example, they've been pretty much doing this for years with their bank system. When people unsub their only able to withdraw thus making it tempting to resubscribe. So I could see this as very viable method of retaining subscriptions.

OMG, that would definitely make the membership worth it for me. If you don't actually shop in the store and aren't actively leveling a character, there is nothing to encourage the membership...but for people that craft or gather, this would be amazing...

I wonder if it would be similar to the GW2 model?

Man, I am also considering ESO+ if that were to be released. How large would the crafting bags be?

Prices for provisioning mats will plummet if that update happens. Or maybe not if hoarders never run out of space.

Even though I am all for this, the downside is that when there is an increase in inventory space means more of those items on hand which means guild store prices for mostly crafting items will plummet. Which is a good thing for buyers, but bad for sellers.

Yep - I mean it is do-able, but who wants to be spending their valuable game time fighting the bank boss?

    Great point.

I guess I had just assumed that crafting could be done from the ESO bags, but clarification would be nice.

I love the idea, however I'm not willing to rent the bag each month for $15. As it stands, I don't see a whole lot of added value from the subscription fee. Even the added XP isn't really worth it, because I'm out-leveling content way too quickly.

If there is one thing I do not care about in the game, it is sellers. I am in trade guilds to get a little more money clearing out my inventory. A lower price will still be more than selling to NPC merchants, and I am fine with that.

Good point. I am considering subbing at some point for IC, so the bags make it feel more worthwhile. But, yeah, that is a lot of money to pay for just bags.

As far as the XP bump, out-leveling areas ceases to happen in vet zones.

ESO+ will never be worth it if you don't factor the crowns into the equation. Of course, that basically means that if you wouldn't be spending those crowns anyway, then you shouldn't subscribe, regardless of the other ESO+ perks.

I'd love crafting bags. Especially seeing as I'm working my way through provisioning, and alchemy is next on the list.

But would I be willing to pay about NZD$30 for it (as well as the other perks)? No sir, I would not.

Now if the expanded bags were also available for purchase via the Crown Store I'd be in like flynn.....but obviously that would negate the perk of ESO plus.
