Honor the Dead change

Since Templar is the "Healing Paladin" class, please consider changing Honor the Dead to a Stamina morph. This would give us a small stamina sustain to match Rune Focuses Magic Sustain and allow Templar to use an actual class ability to heal as a Stamina Templar. Change the morph so it only affects the Templar casting it, let this be the Stamplars "oh s@#$" button. As it stands now this morph is ignored by Magicka Templars anyway and would add some self healing for Tanky Templars.

    Nope.
Keep Honor the Dead as a Magicka Ability.

I agreed to keep it as Magicka ability. A holy paladin class should use Magicka to power holy spells.

Why? Why do we need 2 magic morphs? Especially since almost no one even uses it? The only stamina sustain Templar gets requires dead bodies. Every class can convert some of their Magic to Stamina, why should Templar have a whole healing tree that's mostly useless as a Stamina class since it has no stamina variants. Not only that but there are already stamina heals in the game, all this does is give Templar a choice to use Honor the Dead instead of Rally.

Becasue honor the dead heals you and it pretty much restores all of your magicka, it's awesome the way it is. Learn how to use it.

I know how to use it, please do not make assumptions. In Imperial City It restores 15%(used to be 18%) of the mana spent on the ability, over time if the person healed has less than 75% hp. It targets one player and as a Stamina Templar both versions (BOL and HTD) are very weak and mostly useless. Currently Templar, the healing paladin class, relies on Rally and Vigor (Non class skills) to heal which are the same skills all stamina classes use to heal except Sorc (Sorc has crit surge). You are arguing that our heals should always scale off magicka meaning to have a usefull heal I should be a hybrid or use non-class skills? Hybrids don't work in pvp.

As a stamina Temp your mp is better spent on utility and buff spells. All I am saying is it feels odd that the class with a healing tree has no stamina versions leading to my Stamplar requiring a heal from 2 hand or PVP skill line.

I agree that this move is awesome, but @AfkNinja is just saying its not an effective move as a stamina Templar. Learning how to use it wont help regardless if its not effective towards his build. More Magicka=larger heals, so being a stamina build deters the versatility of the Templar.

Thank you for your response, you understand my point.

Because we are not using the restoring light heals all of the passives are mostly useless to us especially in pvp with the -50% healing. All I am saying is give us more stamina options. I like the Restoring Light tree, let me use it on my Stamplar to help with tanking/dps.
