Now I'm even debating whether or not to obtain & research Nirn traits. I don't see how it is worth it anymore... like how much spell resist would it grant me from one piece of legendary armor, like a chest?
And potent nirncrux will still be very useful, yeah. No idea about prices.

Everyone:
After perusing the patch notes, I am left with the impression that applying the nirnhoned trait to, say, a chest piece will only provide that nirn buff to the chest piece, at a maximum of 18 percent spell resistance.
So, if I want 18 percent spell resistance across the board for my character(s), I would need to apply the trait to all seven armor pieces?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
Nirnhoned is still one of the best traits to have on armor. But now it's in line with other armor traits.
No armor trait in this game is having a big impact, only minor improvements and for min/maxing and Nirnhoned is still having a rather big impact when used on heavy armor.
Nirnhoned is still a great choice, but it's no longer superior to normal armor traits.
