Magic Cost Reduction Glyph bugg.

This ring was enchanted with a 200 magic cost reduction glyph before update. I see nothing in the patch notes about it. Now its only 198.

Is this a tool tip error or is it bugged?

I guess they all bugged. Can only make it 198 now.....

    I don't think it's a bug.
Decreased the cost reduction at lower levels, though values remain largely unchanged for VR14 player characters.

    I'd say 200 -> 198 is "largely" unchanged.

Except it was 203 on pts...

    Maybe they scale?

You might be reading that wrong. This is not a lower level item. I would consider anything in the vet range to be considered Higher level items. Maybe i'm interpreting that wrong though. Some of The wording for the patch notes is very hard for me to follow or understand and leaves to many questions.

Yes, it is not a lower level item, but the quote says:

"Though values remain largely unchanged for VR14 player characters."

This implies that there is a change even for VR14 player characters (or rather VR14 glyphs) and this could be that change.

Well, it was same on pts already then.

ZOS adjusted the curve for cost reduction jewelry glyphs (i.e. the reduction value) from it's lowest value (level 1 white glyph) to its highest value (v16 gold glyph).

    Under this adjusted curve:
-- MrBeatDown is looking at the adjusted value of a v14 gold glyph: 198.
-- Xeven was looking at the value of a v16 enchantment on PTS.

The loss of 2 points to your current gear (and mine) is insignificant. If you ultimately upgrade your enchantment to v16 gold, it will be slightly above what you had in Update 6 (although this upgrade is likewise... insignificant ).

I thought you would bring that up, that's why ill say it like this. An item and a player are totally different things. I am V15 Character BTW . So I guess they also bugged the patch notes.

Ive not done the math myself (yet) but I have it on good authority that regen is now optimal, except one of the known issues is a cp regen bug. I think thats just food though.
