Are you getting 25-30 megabits or megabytes per second? I could see 25-30 megabits, which would translate to 3.125-3.75 megabytes. Or is this your service speed and not the actual meter from the launcher?
Because my connection is 40 megabytes/s, but downloads like this are throttled way below that somewhere else in the network. I assumed it was limited at the server and/or by providers in between the servers and my ISP.
OK, nvm. The 25-30 was probably during the "applying" phase, not the "downloading" phase.

Seravi✭✭✭✭✭Nope mine was the downloading phase. I have an awesome connection and generally get really good speeds. There have been a couple of patches things were really slow but lately they have been spot on.0

That's normal. Depending on the patch, it's typically in multiple parts, and the launcher will download one part, apply it, then download the next part, apply it, etc.Looks like my patcher downloaded the patch in several parts, for whatever reason.
It's almost done
As to why it's done that way... Well, I can only make wild guesses based on having no real knowledge of how ZOS packages up their patches.

Actually this makes perfect sense. When my speeds are slow, it says downloading, when they're fast it says applying patch. Thanks for mentioning this.0 -
