If it is "yours" being the UK 12am that gives the US players 6-9 hours of full points while excluding USSR/Australia from really ever getting to play primetime at full points.
The point is this is a global game and your timezone isn't special, there are people all over the world that are playing at their prime time. You realize that 4am GMT is 8pm US PST right?
So basically if you live in California your primetime PVP action is hindered because the UK is sleeping?
I don't agree with the servers being shutdown here etc, but your point is stupid. If you live in California, you should really be playing on the US server, where your prime time is pretty much similar to other peoples prime time where you live.
Of course, you are not forced to play on that server, and if you have Europpean friends (who are probably mostly asleep) so be it, but the comment about primetime pvp action is mute, because there is no-one to pvp with, you're PvDooring.
Everyone has to accept that nightcaps will always happen from time to time (and sometimes more often on certain factions than others). It would be better if all factions had the same population 24/7 but that is just impossible.

Im not asking for the server to shut down at night im asking for less faction points at silly times like 4am you have the same ap gains and take the keeps scrolls all you want but ep getting 200points every hour from 1am to 5am because the locked and most in eu are asleep is lame. What's silly to you, Is primetime for many different people such as myself. 4am is about the only time I can play when I get home from work, So No. I will not be okay with a smaller AP gain, And it's just absurd you think that's an option that's going to help things.
Just in case you didn't realize, The United States has 50 states, And multiple timezones. West coast is generally 3-4 hours behind east coast, So If people hop on at say 8pm california time, A sizable portion of the player base gets offline because the other side of the country is now 1am. If people are in a campaign that's boring for them with less people, They try out other campaigns. (EU Server included.) This is due to timezones most of the time.
Furthermore, The NA Megaserver has just as many international players as EU does, And nightcapping is still a thing here. So it would be more intelligent if you didn't try and blame one country for your sweet delicate tears, when this is an occurrence that happens to everyone regardless of megaserver.
Solution: Move campaigns or recruit.
Find one better populated, or start running groups and getting people in your alliance interested in your campaign. An infant can do it. Make a group, siege things, And recruit. Guilds are useful for inviting all of your regulars and keeping a core group of players busy.
