They really gotta go. At least on the heavy armour. Sure, they look good when standing. They do NOT look good when running. And on the armours included with 2.1.X (at least on PTS) there's some REALLY bad clipping with sheathed 1h-weapons...
There is not much armor that looks better with hipflaps than without.
And I do not need those unsightly MMO shoulders that stick out and float in the air.
Less is more.
Less would be more Elder Scrolls and less Online.
Most of the time I'd be happy with a simple hooded robe. Why does everything have to be so heavily ornamented?
I wish every chest piece had a new basic breast plate variant that got rid of the hip plates and butt flaps, similar to how ZOS made the skirtless variants of the light armour robes. I don't mind the plates and flaps on some of the armours, but since I vastly prefer the basic breast plate look, my options are few and far between. Bosmer light and medium works well for keeping the silly flaps at bay, but even then, the hip plates start showing up by the third material tier.
Even a toggle option would be okay to get rid of the hip plates / flaps, like the option to hide helmets. I wouldn't want it the hide the whole chest piece of course, just the plates / flaps.
