No need for a source, that's the way the B2P/optional sub model works.

- Either you're subbed and you get free access to DLC + 1500 crowns per month of paid subscription (that's the "free crowns")
- You can choose to BUY the DLC on top of your subcription (to still have access to it even if you unsub), and you can do that with your "free crowns"
- Or you're unsubbed and you have to either re-sub (back to option 1) or buy crowns to buy the DLC.

Very clever and VERY FAIR system.

But NOWHERE is a free giveaway of 5000 crowns per player mentioned nor considered. It was given to us on PTS just so that non-ESO+ members could access the DLC on PTS, but PTS is a "virtual thing", accounts are wiped anyway.

So, hate to burst ya bubble my friend, but i have been in one of the other factions while the lag is happening. It effects everyone, not just one side. I have been sent major hate tells on William Wallace when the server lagged out in bleakers one day. Whole damn raid on me for 5 min and even then they only just killed me. I was thinking the hacking tools bags. Then the hate tells started, after a few min myself and the guy from the other faction tried to break down what might have caused it. Now im Aussie and on a dud internet connection, and they had no-one on in their group or guild that was. All where american, so could this be part of the issue some how? a loss over the distance of some kind as meteors and lots of aoe gets sent from one slow connection and back again. food for thought. Have not had it happen to me since my net speeds where fixed by my supplier. Unless its been in a massive battle in a keep.

Is there lag in IC?

It's tied to the population of Cyrodiil so I'd expect so, day one is probably going to be a nightmare since everyone that buys it will be trying to get in there.

People should know what kind of game they are playing. Not what do you expect from IC?

Is just a gankfest and some fun for pvp. For pve will be just some new dungeons.

I want rp elements in this game but that will never happen. The game will go step by step with the direction of other games just to make some good money.

I will buy IC and test and have some fun (hopefully) but I know that wont last very much. Cause I dont like the direction of the whole game. But well, Fallout 4 is there and I wont be playing for months by then. Maybe I wont return cause I will be left apart because of the CP. I wanna replay Witcher 3 full modded too(some interesting mods are starting to appear).

I wont be able to go to IC until tuesday-wednesday so i guess the horrible conecttion issues will be gone by then.

The game is done since the b2p announce. This was all orchestrated. Its completely nornal and understandable. MMO universe is just sick and goes nowhere regarding quality of the games. Just to make some good money in the meantime and have the official forums plenty of people getting mad. I go mad usually too because this game is not what it was supposed to be.

But hey,what to do? You can feed zos money wheel or you can just have fun if possible or you can just forget all about ESO. I have done 2 of those things. I will forget all about ESO maybe once I have played orsinium. Because all of what the game will offer, will be known by then. You will have seen pvp expansion,pve expansion and solo expansion.

By now, you have seen about everything that the game will offer anyway. It is what it is, do not expect to please you if you are not feeling comfortable now. I like about 25% of the game. The rest means for me just well...some work sometimes and some time sink other times. I dont like pvp but I have some fun anyway.

Do what you wish but you should know what is all this themed park about. Sometimes they will show some lions,other times some monkeys...but you will always be inside a zoo. Do not expect to be in the opera or in a football match.

And yes, the game will go f2p in the future with vr levels by crowns.

Well, I play PC-NA on Azura's Star, so I have crashed due to the lag. It happens. I've been in battles where it's so lagged siege can't be deployed and skills don't work. Yes, it is frustrating to die due to lag and crashing to desktop which happens daily to me multiple times a day during battles. Yes, there are some people on the game who think spamming one or two skills is the only way to win. They are usually fairly well known and people find ways to counteract those specific skills. For all the aoe attacks, there are skills like barrier. There are tactics that are developed. People adapt.

With the patch tomorrow, I am hoping that a good number of the lag issues will be resolved. But as far as not buying the DLC, you're only hindering yourself, OP. That's your choice. (And yes, I've seen the cherries and bananas standing side by side attacking DC resources. The next time, I'll screenshot it. And yes, I call them 'cherries' for a reason. Think about it!)

If you guys are lagging you might want to consider a new computer. If it is ping issues then that is server wide and hits everyone no matter where you are in the zone.

What does the proximity of players to each other have to do with lag? The server handles the entire zone. Weather the 20 players spamming their skills to cause lag are together or spread across the map, I don't think it's going to make much difference to the server. Also, if you only have 20 people in a Cyrodiil campaign I doubt you'll be noticing much lag, it's not the amount of players attempting to lag the server that really matters, it's when you have hundreds of players on the same server and then a dedicated group spams their skills on top of all that traffic.

What's my point? Well in the imperial city they seem to have broken it all up a lot more. In cyrodiil if there's crazy fighting at Fort Ash, people at Glademist will feel the effects. In the imperial city, the zones are essentially their own servers, as well as the sewers are all broken up into their own servers also. Therefore, to really lag out a section of the imperial city, that district/zone would first have to be extremely overcrowded.

To simply state that 10+ players in the same spot in the imperial city will cause lag similar to what we currently see in Cyrodiil, is just outright false. Many of us have played the PTS and it has not lagged when 10 people were together. Your entire thread here is based on your false assumptions.
