BigTone✭✭✭✭LagMacros are not a big deal, and are often an excuse used when someone gets killed and doesn't understand game mechanics. Lag makes people quit the game entirely. LagI don't actually know enough of PvP to understand the issues but the lag effectively killed it for me. Though I do wish I had of created a toon for PvP but my Nord DK DPS don't do shist other than die until I learned that my build was letting me down.. XP... So not fully Lags fault.FYI with gaming you meet a lot of different people

Total damage can be over 50K. How do you defend that?

Just for every person reading this thread, do not believe this macro garbage, please.
Every single skill has a global cooldown.
If you want to try this out really quick, put impulse on your one key and spam it as fast as you can. It wont go any faster, promise. try and chain 2 skills, still a global cooldown.Edited by WRX on August 30, 2015 9:31AMDecibel GM

You forget there is one thing called "Animation cancel".
That's why macro users can do 4-5 times with one shot.
There were many video show those on youtube.
You can search them and watch.
But not all skills can use in a macro.
Because not every skills can do animation cancel.

Nafirian✭✭✭✭✭LagLag will continue to happen as long as ZOS encourage it allowing people to ball up and zerg down people. And macros aren't that big a deal normally macros are used by gankers and even then you don't have that much of a chance to survive so not that big of a deal imo0

Several gaming mice and keyboards come with scripting programs that allow you to program one key to do a series of actions. It allows one to activate an ability, start to charge a heavy attack, release the heavy attack at the same time as the charging ability, wait the minimum number of milliseconds to preform the next action then perform the next action. Scripting works very well with abilities like wrecking blow, snipe, crushing shock or anything that you can start to attack while activating. If you want to experiment with it and don't have a gaming mouse and keyboard there are fee programs like Auto-hot-key that do the same thing without special hardware.
Most of the things macros can do can also be accomplished manually with some practice though not to the same precision. If people use them or not is irrelevant because there is no way to police it and the hardware and scripting programs are very common. You can buy a Razor product, download a free program, practice your timing in game once you know what to time.
Other games have made it impossible to send inputs from secondary programs to prevent this sort of game play it doesn't seem to be a priority to ZoS so you must assume it is condoned.“Whatever.”
