It's the Little Things that Annoy

It's the little things that annoy. These 3 are at the top of my list;

Players unlocking a Chest but only removing one or two things so that the Chest cannot respawn.

Provisioning Writs: It's like trying to find the proverbial needle, so why not allow Deconstruction? I began playing on PS4 on release day but I still haven't found the second recipe I was asked to provide.

Food and Drink Stacking. Why not?

About provisioning writs, you can complete the writ even if you are unable to craft that particular food, you just need to have the food/drink item in your inventory. If you can't craft it yourself perhaps a kind guildie who can craft that recipe can give it to you or perhaps you can find the food or drink item for sale by another player in a guild store.

it is not cheating in niether pvp nor pve to be able to sneak fast yet zenimax somehow believes it is a cheat. seems like a small thing to many people but to me its a huge game breaker and a very big deal to me to not have those fast sneak speeds, i need fast sneaking speeds.

so, fast sneak and movement speeds is not only lore but is also a big deal in the dark brother hood and thieves guild.

the fact that we dont have dark brotherhood and Vvardenfell in eso to me is a real heart breaking and astonishing shockingly bad thing.
im amazed people think its not a big deal, but to me its like daylight without the sun.

I get this 8/10 times with people, most of it are really low lvl players in a high lvl place, seen it done to others and find it wrong.

They're not taking anything away from you though, correct? Is it because they put in so little effort yet they get the same exp and chance at good loot? I get that. It annoys me too.

My fisherwoman will gladly take those crawlers (and the precious worms too), thank you. At least they don't drop Plump Worms anymore. Egads.

    @dwemer_paleologist,
you might want to look into getting either 5 pieces of the Night's Silence craftable armor/weapon set, or getting a vampire bite and the passive ability that gives fast sneaking speed. (I think there is also a drop set which gives a sneak speed buff). Either of them allows you to sneak at running speed. They don't stack anymore though :)

People in PvE who are doing the same puzzle quest as you, but haven't read the clue/dialogue or don't want to bother thinking about it and keep whispering you things like 'this sux cant get it to work' or 'can u just tell me what to do lol'.

Just pay attention, please. It's an mmo, not rocket science.

What? You want to get the ridiculous faster-than-maxed-horse sneak speed back from something that doesn't take nearly as much time/effort/gold as maxed horse? Really?

I'm saying this as a chronic sneaker by the way. I sneak EVERYWHERE. And I am perfectly happy with vamp bonus only. Gotta see those hidden chests to grab them. :sunglasses:

    2. How do you even deconstruct in Provisioning?

    1. Night's Silence/Shadow Dancer 5-piece bonus removes the speed decrease when sneaking and Vampire passives increase speed while sneaking. Combine that with Rapid Maneuver/(Morph) and you're gonna be amazed!
    2. The Dark Brotherhood and similar things were addressed in the last ESO Live. Unfortunately I do not remember what was said lol

    1. What can they say? Creepy crawleys are creepy.
    2. Never had anyone laugh about it and would honestly be a pointless taunt if it wasn't your aim to begin with, meaning jokes on them. If you were after it then next time let them lead.

As for me my top 3 things that bug me are:

    3. My thunder and/or revenge got stolen because something annoying interfered.

lol. I agree it's the little things that annoy.
    • Argonian skeletons that look human.
    • Invisible walls that prevent exploration.
    • The lack of functional torches.
    • Chairs that are unsitable.
    • Beds that are unusable.
    • Ladders that are unclimbable.
    • The inability to "rent" a room at an inn.
    • Traveling merchants without carts, horses, or even bags.
    • The inability to give beggars gold.
    • Secunda lacking a reflection in the water.

    All little things... all annoying.

I agree the people who leave the worms in nodes, especially in upper craglorn and the hollow city in coldharbor farming for nirncrux and alchemy ingredients. Not sure if console people have woke up to the fact that it hurts themselves as well as other players. Takes a lot longer for new nodes to spawn this way, plus it is down right rude.

I'm going to admit that I'm totally guilty of this, but I only do it when other people are around, because the item inside won't appeal to me, but it might appeal to someone else looking at the chest in envy. Another reason I might not take the item is because I don't need it and my inventory space is full (happens a lot)

I was grinding my Nightblade at level 22 and saw a dark anchor that was around level 24. Perfect! Good exp, good rewards. There was a VR14 camping it for an hour and I have no idea why. One volley of arrows destroyed every enemy on the field, so I was just running around like an idiot. So I decided to do some quests in the area, came back and he was still there doing the same anchor. Surely that can't be very beneficial for a VR14? That annoys me a lot. You've had your time in this area, move on and let others experience and proceed, please.

This is often caused unintentionally by inventory full issues. It has happened to me and I have, reluctantly, had to leave stuff behind. We really need an on-screen bag space indicator that is not an add-on.

But, all is not as bad as it seems. They do respawn. The instant someone looks at the contents, a timer starts. Whether they take anything or not, it will eventually go away. It is not that long of a wait, either. It is on the order of a couple of minutes.

Putting motifs and recipes in my bank so they can be given to alts or held until usable but they don't stack and take up valuable bank space. Yes, I could create a bank mule but that is beside the point. Recipes and motifs are identical; they should stack.

I'm sorry, I have been guilty of leaving crawlers behind but I don't any longer because I realized it kept plants from respawning in a timely manner. On the other hand, I have benefited from people taking the gold and leaving the rest in chests. People who leave you to fight and steal what you're fighting for are despicable though.
