Major lag issues

I have been getting major lag spikes since the maintenance yesterday it's making the game almost unplayable, I have already reset routers and all that zenimax please look in to it oh and it isn't psn I am able to play all other games online with no issues.

    Same here. Not my isp , not psn. Spent 1hr 1/2 on the phone with tech this morning just to find everythings fine on their end. Can play online games over psn just fine on other games with no problems. Last 2 days I can't even fish without watching my char recast in a fishing hole , stand there and get kicked from lag. Lots of fun hitting a button , nothing happens for 2-3 minutes then get booted to the "unable to log-in" message screen. After 2 days of this , my patience is reaching its limit and I have the patience of a saint. What gives?

    *Now not even able to log in at all. Can't bring up the announcements. Then says "connection timed out" when I can't even log in in the first place. Ridiculous , utterly ridiculous.

    Was there ever any info posted anywhere saying what the cause of the problems actually was? I looked for even an acknowledgment which I never found. My nephew finally found something saying ZoS was taking servers down for maintenance yesterday after looking all over for something updating players. I'm glad they got on it but what about letting us know what it was in the 1st place.

    I'd heard all the typical "net rumors" but no real information. These things make me curious is all. I'd prefer to be an informed player than someone that just complains until I can play. Knowing why I couldn't play would be nice.

    lads read the "Unable to connect to game server.Please make sure you have a valid internet connection." thread there's a lot of chat about this issue on there some of us have been suffering this for a while

    I've noticed lag for the first time ever, since the last 'Maintenance' too. And crashing then getting the same "Unable to connect to game server. Please make sure you have a valid internet connection" message.

    US server here.

    Players who receive an error stating "Unable to Connect to Server" should check their internet connection for any network or service outages and follow the process below:

    See if there are any known problems with the PlayStation Network online service: https://status.playstation.com/en-us/.
    Check all the physical devices on the network to ensure they are plugged in and powered on.
    Perform a connection test on each device connected to the network.
    Players can refer to this link for more information on how to connect to the PSN network: http://faq.en.playstation.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/7767/~/unable-to-connect-to-psn.

    We also recommend that players use an ethernet cable instead of a wireless connection.

    If they are unable to identify the issue, players should verify their network and perform a connection test on the console first. This is explained here: http://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/ps4/settings/nw_test.html.

    We also recommend players ensure that the ports needed for the game and PSN are open. The ports for our game and PSN are as follows:

    TCP Ports 10040 through 10060
    UDP Ports 50000 through 60000
    UDP Ports 12000 through 32000
    UDP Port 6250
    UDP Port 5060
    UDP Port 5062
    UDP Port 3478 through 3479
    TCP Port 80
    TCP Port 433

    Another cop out I've ran every fix they don't work the problem isn't you customers it's you. Tech support giving the same rubbish advice to everyone with this issue when clearly the ZeniMax Servers can't handle the traffic or the developers left out something important. I received an acknowledgement from tech support stating they know there's a problem and their developers are looking into it but people are still bringing up the issue and are getting the run around when all our other games work online problem free there's only one common denominator YOU get on it and just sort it out €75 for a BETA is a bit of a kick in the stones to be honest.
