Heavy Armor needs devs thread !!!
With the 2.1.3 "BlackRose Gate" where the 5p bonuses have been change to +50% on the Constitution passive (+336 stam and magicka / 4s on hit at VR14), I have just realized, after all the bad thing there is to say
what I did about the mediocrity (euphemism) of Heavy Armor in PVP, especially for Stamina Melee players I still have missed one:
Did you guys noticed that Stamina and Magicka Regeneration from medium and lilght armor
have many champion points, racials, potions that demultiply their effectiveness but "Constitution" Passive from Heavy Armor has not ?
So what ?
Well Medium ("Windwalker") and Light ("Recovery") armor have just access to a resource mechanism that just SCALE (additively or multiplicatively, ZOS tooltips are as unclear as always and sometimes compute differently than what stated) with the power (CPs, stuff, racials passives...) of the character.
On the Contrary the Heavy Armor resource Mechanism does not, and had access prior to 2.1.3 and "BlackRose Gate" to... nothing.
Still the passive and the resource mechanism for Heavy Armor is so bad, that players have lost all interest in the once promising set despite its "wonderful" +50% to constitution.Heavy resource mechanism is just even worst than we have thought.
Each item boosting Resource regeneration is
therefore 50% or more valuable on Light/Medium than on Heavy,
deepening the gap and the resource advantage even more at the expense of Heavy Armor users.
The already inferior resource system is getting more and more inferior, the better the gear, the level, the Veteran Ranks, the champion points obtained.
Please change it ZOS.
- Balance Armors resource systems between efficient medium and light ones that scale and an inefficient heavy other that does not.
- Balance PVP.
