Yep and that is ONE player only 35 total players have over 600 I think they said after that it drops off sharply,
I think they dropped that bit of information to kinda squash the rumors of every other player running around with a 1000 cp points..0 -

IF he said anything like that I sure didnt hear it, and yes, obscure information ... unless of course you are one of those people who sit at their computer for hours everyday and read every little thing you can find about this game. Of course, there is also the fact that I did not even begin playing this game until it came out on console (2 months ago). Them putting out "the PTS from 1.6/2.0 where you would get template characters with the max 3600 CPs" is something they did long before this game came out on console so of course, unless we spent HOURS and HOURS sitting at a computer reading "obscure information" that came out before our time, we would not know about it. Everyone else are running stamina build so they only need to break hardern ward + healing ward.
Sorc who can only run magicka build have to break hardern ward+ dampen magic+ healing ward, and sorc have low dps without overload.
If you're a sorc and facing another sorc in defensive build, you can never kill them alone.
I feel for magicka builds facing cheese-stack sorcs. By cheese-stack I mean the types with (cheesy) high-CP Bastion builds. I understand why some people choose to play such builds, but not every sorc does. And sorcs running 11k-ish Hardened Wards are as killable as anyone, especially at the hands of stamina builds.
Disabling the grass may improve performance.0 -

First of all, who said I was playing poorly in the game? I sure didn't. I asked about one specific problem I didn't understand. I was ranked 14th on my server this week but slipped to 29th because I didn't have the time to play for a couple of days. I play just fine ... so you comment about that is invalid. Second, many people replied to my post and most were very helpful, courteous and friendly and to those people, I said and say "Thank You". The people I took issue with were those who lack the communication skills to be courteous and friendly in their comments, expected me to just automatically know everything they did and the one troll who obviously only replied to this thread to be insulting. It isn't what you say, it is how you say it. Some people might want to take that into consideration.0 -

There were no instances were people lacked communication skills (apart from the troll); they clearly communicated that you were wrong but you continued to use incorrect third party information (or information you incorrectly interpreted).
Sounding like, wasn't an accusation of you playing poorly; it was a perception of how you come across. Your the only one in this topic that has resorted to comments regarding peoples lives outside of ESO; no-one else sunk that low.
There will always be trolls, but the comment where you talk about peoples outside life was in response to someone who just told you the actual facts, you refused to listen so it had to be put across a little more forcefully.

it wouldnt be so bad if you could just crit a shield, they were never designed to be stacked 3 at once. Life as a magicka templar vs Shield stacking sorc is depressing.
