At present I'm PvP alliance rank 40, so have gotten 40 of the 50 possible skill points for PvP.

I have 318 skill points having completed all main quest lines in all three factions, done all the dungeons (normal, vet, and hidden bosses), taken the extra skill points from mage's guild line, and picked up all skyshards.

I don't believe that there are any others that are available, and I haven't heard of anyone with more, so for all the debates and question - here's the probable answer.
That means I'm missing one in this list - as this only adds up to 327... anyone know what I've missed?
    • 49 from levelling your character, up to level 50
    • 13 from gaining Veteran Ranks, up to Veteran14
    • 11 from completing quests in the Main Quest
    • 49 from completing quest chains in the Dominion, Covenant, Pact, and Coldharbour main storylines
    • 2 from the Mages Guild storyline
    • 113 from absorbing 339 skyshards
    • 50 from ranking up in the Alliance War
    • 16 from completing group challenges in public dungeons
    • 16 from completing group dungeons
    • 8 from completing Veteran dungeons

Did you account for the Cyrodil skill point

He did. You get 50 skill points max at PVP.

I thought it would be interesting to post something very relevant to this topic.

I contacted support many months ago, and I got this response:
My name is Matt. Sorry for the delay. The total skillpoints excluding PVP in the game is 278.

    Total Skyshards 113
    Mages Guild 2
    Public Dungeon 16
    Group Dungeon 16
    Vet Dungeon 8
    Main Personal Quest 11
    Soul Skill Line 1^
    Quest Skill points 48#
    Per Level 63*

    * I've contested the 'per level' skill points with the CS, and I really do think they meant it as 62 (level 1 and level 50/vet1 don't get each). Besides, we get 62 attribute points, therefore should be 62 skill points.
    # they missed one, from looks of it.
^ where the hell did that came from?

All in all, the total skill points above is 328 (inclusive of pvp skill points). But as a side note, what is that soul skill line coming from??

anywho, I just thought it is interesting that the TOTAL matches the TOTAL of the OP. just my two cents :).

P.S. For anyone that feels like they're missing an appropriate skill point allocation should contact support. I've contacted them about mine, and my character did not receive several skill points (due to the bugs a year ago where some public dungeons and quests were not giving the skill point as per usual).

The Soul Skill Line has automatic a Skillpoint in it and cannot be resetet. its the first skill in this Line.

Thats wy effectiv there are 328 Skillpoints, but you can only skill max 327 times.

So theoretical we have 328 skillpoints, but in the practice we have just 327

Trust me, I've already thought the same but came to this incorrect conclusion. First of all, the OP is using spent skill points add on, and I already tested this (both new and old characters) and found that the addon do NOT count the world soul skill line pre-filled "Soul Trap". Therefore, the OP will be able to gain 328 as of today, pre update 7 (as shown on the add on and how many he has left in PVP). There is an extra SP unaccounted for as myself and @Enodoc can only count to 327 from our calculations.

EDIT : for clarification, the addon that OP is using do not incorporate the soul trap skill as part of the total. Therefore there is 328 skill points that can be obtained (where in theory you have 329 with soul trap already given to you or 330 with soul trap skill and your first racial skill - those that help you level up skill lines).

    Hi,
I have 288 skill points and I am level 11 in alliance. I did not take the mages guild skill book.
288+ 39(still in Cyrodiil)+ 2 (Book)= 329. So to me it seems there is 329 total skill point in the game

@Qyrk : Soul Trap is pre-filled, though when you re-spec the first time that skill point gets pulled out and put into your available pool, so I believe that it is included in my 328 - which may be why some people are calculating 327 available (plus that one is 328).

Regarding the Racial passive that is auto-filled, that could count as the 329th skill point.

Does that make sense or did I misunderstand something?

I also done this math and ended up with 327. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Also don't forget that the Mages Guild questline reward used to be tradeable between characters, so a single character could get more skillpoints than was intended. I still think there is only 327.

    @Crown
First, when you re-spec, the skill point in soul trap stays there (it doesn't get pulled out). Also to prove this, I used the same add-on on a new character (with 3 total obtained skill points and soul trap skill pre-filled) and the "Total (xxx/total)" does not include this skill point that is already pre-filled in Soul Trap. Therefore, what is showing on OP means that 328 are obtained, 329 with pre filled soul trap. So we're still trying to know where that 1 other "obtained" skill point is. Trust me, I've done a few tests with the add on as well.

Any skill points in Craglorn Delves since they are harder than public dungeons? (Haven't done them yet.)

There should be much less skill points so passives actually mattered instead of just 'having them all'

@Qyrk - Understood! I didn't test it, just made an assumption there.

Something else to confirm - when you get Werewolf, you have one point in the Ultimate automatically. Does this give you an extra point, or does it consume on from your pool? When you drop werewolf, does that point come back to you, or is it locked into the skill?

Could the extra point (328 instead of 327) that I have be due to my current werewolf?
