Crafting and previews

I have access to a few different styles: Nord, Altmer, Bosmer, Imperial, Dunmer, Breton.. but unfortunately I don't know what every piece of armor/weaponry looks like in these styles. The thumbnail you can see slightly helps, but I often thought it might be better when you have the item selected in the creation window, if your character would wear it on the left hand side, giving you a full preview of it before making your decision. At the moment I'm having to craft the lowest level piece and waste mats just to see what it looks like (yes I'm fussy). I'm aware of the eso fashion website, but it doesn't always have the style for the gender I'm after. With the preview, it would also be possible to spin your character around. You could go all out and have an option to "Show full set equipped", but I'd be happy with just the single piece if it were possible.

The question of a crafting preview UI was raised on the last ESO Live Session and the answer was that there is some interest and the idea is under consideration.

Yeah...that's exactly we have sites like esofashion.

This has been suggested since the early days on PC, and it's good to see that it was raised again recently and they may be considering it.

I discovered a neat trick, at least on the PC. It is not a full on preview like people want (me too for the record) but it can give you an idea. Go into UI Options and scale the UI up in size for crafting sessions. It takes just a moment and the preview screen shot is actually viewable.

Of course they could scale that image up for us until we get a preview mechanism.

Hah, not a bad idea. I'll give it a shot. Not a bad idea as a workaround until we get our full sized previews on the character (I hope)
