Gamemaster Patrols? Ending Trolls?

I'm currently recording a bunch of trolls in Davon's Watch and it made me think - why not have patrols of gamemasters, mods or what have you? There's probably a lot of reasons why, I'm just pretty mad right now that there's a load of trolls running round being racist, sexist and inappropriate...

As far as console gaming goes, yeah, it's on console. I want to switch to PC but can't keyboard game due to having Erb's Palsy (nerve damage in left arm). So if I can set a console controller up to game on the PC then that would be amazing. Still doesn't help the console issues though

✭I've always thought that MMOs should implement GMs out and about in the game world alongside the players acting as guides, mentors, peacekeepers, etc. it would be a really cool dynamic. Most of the time they prefer to stay invisible with the rare chance of one showing themselves0 -

I get that too. Plus I gained a stalker IRL. Although he's been quiet recently. It's another reason I think GM patrols would be good. People shouldn't feel harassed into quiting a game they otherwise enjoy.7 -

Whose sole purpose would be to judge if a player is being a ***, wreck them and send them to a instanced prison for the rest of the day! Of course this is bit harsh initially, can easily be toned down. Better than nothing though.0 -

A friend of mine on PC is using a Logitech game pad (a controller) with ESO and they are adding controller support for Xbox and PS controllers as well. Sorry to hear about the trolls.

I actually don't know, I'd assume they are there. Just not many and more passive.
I'd love if trustworthy players could sign up to actively play as an invulnerable town guard. Oh sweet Justice!1 -

A couple of options to look into.
It is possible to use a controller on PC right now with Xpadder or Pinnacle. I think people have even listed their settings for those programs if you do a search on here.
Also, what I use (I also have nerve damage and numbness in my left hand) is this. If you look around, you can get it on sale for about 40 bucks. The thumbstick for movement and programmable keys have made a huge difference for me.

You can but I wanted evidence. I don't know how seriously reports are taken... Plus I had my recording equipment set up anyway

Tectonaut✭✭✭Many people from the community would likely volunteer to GM for free, myself included. I love this game and TES as a whole, and I am very disappointed when I go to a town and hear nothing but trolls, sailors, scammers, and perverts (I have heard creepy grown men literally asking where kids where living, and if they are alone). And yes I do report the exceptions.1

A stalker in real life! that can be dangerous I sure hope you called the police. but yeah they should have someone patrol to shut the trolls up patrolling the towns, davons watch is the worst offender I seen then again I haven't seen the other beginner towns. if they can't act mature they should not play mature games

Tectonaut✭✭✭I've reported obvious scammers from elden root with game clip backup, only to see the same one the next day/week. I assume they handle some reports, but so far I have seen 0 evidence of that. I am on console BTW, and yes I could turn off area chat, but then why would I play an mmo with no mm? No moderators, no text chat, area chat is the only tool we have for such social things. Zen, I support you guys and your sometimes confusing decisions, I'll use area chat, but please PLEASE make area chat bearable!0

✭While I'm sure there's layers of legal protection in place, I still think that all it's going to take is one good lawsuit against Sony or Microsoft (by some parent that can afford an expensive lawyer) to cause a PR nightmare that will get them to crack down on ZOS for not policing their own game.
