Not to mention the trepidation you would feel as a developer, worrying if it DIDN'T play out as you had hoped.

yeah but if it doesn't play out as you hoped that can always be fixed over time. was just a thought I had cus knowing everything about the game would be odd maybe get boring after a while unless ofcorse they keep adding things to the game. new expansions and such to keep the game going haha.

But that's the fun about Player vs Player. You don't always know where they are or how they'll react. I can see your point for PvE content though, but you don't need Devs to show you how a dungeon works, that's just spoilers. :P
