Very true good point! But I do play a lot with friends. And it would be kinda annoying turning that back up and forth. But thanks man good idea!

Yea and an option to have it not auto move you to party chat when you make a group could be good as well. I mean if the changing channel was instant it wouldn't be so bad, but 12 seconds to change back!
12 SECONDS OF MY SCROLL WASTED BECAUSE THE NUB WENT THE WRONG WAY AND I COULDN'T TELL HIM!!!
Wait ... I see what your doing here ZOS.
If I group with an average of 6 different people while I am smashing out a 2 hour scroll and each time it takes me 12 seconds to get back to guild or area chat (while using the pairs method), that means I am wasting an average of 1.5 minutes of grinding.
Times that by 1 million PS4 players all doing the same thing that's like 1.5 million wasted minutes or 25,000 hours which when divided by 2 hours means those 1 million players need 12,500 scrolls.
Times 12,500 scrolls buy 1000 crown points and we get 12.5 million ... if we divide that buy the 5000 crowns pack means we will need 2,500 packs @ $39.99 each which will cost us ... $99,975! To make up the cost of changing voice channels.
Well played ZOS, well played.

I'm am on console. PS4
While it may not be the best solution, it seems to be the only one.
OR you could just have a PS4 party chat going so it'll block everyone out in game.
And I've never encountered such a ridiculous "bug" to have me crash.
