I know this probably don't matter, but are any of you playing using the disk to start up the game or using a digital copy? The reason why I am asking is I play with a digital copy of the game, and I never had 1 bsod or crash yet since I bought the game when it first came out. I have no idea why you guys are having all these problems. :(

I am playing the digital version as is my husband. We both have crashed numerous times (about 35 times each) since we started playing in the beginning of July. How long have you actually owned the game?

As my post says I bought the game when it first came out.

Yea... sorry I missed that. But glad for you... just wish I could say the same.

Digital copy, the preorder version that was downloaded back in June off PSN.

Do you play in Cyrodiil? Use voice chat? Are you a 1 hour casual, 3 hour gamer, or an all day player? A casual player may not see any crashes if it's a memory leak and the game doesn't run long enough for an error to occur. You are on Ps4 right? I may not play for a few days due to work then marathon it when I have off. I always get at least 1-3 crashes on my day off playing ESO.

I've played some PvE/Leveling Questing today (post patch) with voice chat on (didn't talk much) but the game didn't crash at all. They didn't specify what they "fixed." I wonder if it was v-chat and if they fixed it with today's patch.

If I can play with voice chat on without constant crashing then they may have fixed that bug. A memory leak is something else so if we still crash (Cyrodiil in particular) then they may have to work on that as well. Keep at it until this crashing problem is resolved.

    (8-22-15) Haven't crashed yet.

So far so good. Since v01.06 patch I haven't had any crashes but I've been mostly Veteran PvE leveling.

I did jump into Skull of Corruption, Cyrodiil to help fight EP trolling our (DC) buff server. Didn't experience any crashes in Cyrodiil but they weren't large scale battles. Mostly 20+ DC players vs 6 or so EP players who took a scroll keep.

I had area voice chat on all the while and didn't crash. What ever they patched seemed to have worked for me.

    - Just as a side note I got into the habit of turning PS4 power off, wait a minute, then power on and play ESO. Also I make sure I close all applications because sometimes I watch Netflix on Ps4 and hit the PS button to bring me back into main menu. I noticed under options it says "close application" so Netflix is running in the background when I play ESO. That may have contributed to crashing, I don't know for sure, best to shut everything down before playing.

    -edit (8-23-15) Crashing again

Had off and more time to play today, Sunday. ESO is crashing like clockwork every 2 hours. I had voice chat on and the crashes are random. I'm crashing while PvE questing/leveling.

It must be a memory leak. After every crash I'll power off, wait a minute and power on Ps4. The game will play fine (PvE leveling) for about 2 hours then crash.

Now I point a small desk fan at my Ps4 in case it's a overheating issue but no other games are crashing (Witcher 3 and Dying Light).

Prior to the recent patch I was only getting bluescreen crashes while grouped in Cyrodiil. Since the patch I now get them even while playing solo in main quest areas and they've become much more frequent (1-2 per three hour session as opposed to 1-2 per week). Unsurprisingly it seems it happens more often when there's a lot happening (multiple AoE activations, large-scale PVP battles, using sprint + Rapid Maneuver while mounted, etc) - but it also happens for no apparent reason at all when simply walking around.
