I try to clean my inventory.
I am weak.
I cant destroy my vr12 crap. Bow of Alinor, Staff of Mending.. I will never use this anyway, why do I still keep it?

I need help.

    Item sets are now there for sentimental value (up to you if you want to destroy them or not). Just a tip, make a character and dump all the armor and weapons you know you'll no longer need but want to keep for sentimental value.

    Pure speculation, but a lot of people are saving their Undaunted keys for when the IC DLC comes out, that way they have a chance of getting the new V16 undaunted gear.

    I would assume people are saving their writ crates for the same purpose, however I thought the crates were ranked? So I might be completely wrong here...

    EDIT: The more I think about this the more I believe I am completely wrong here. Will there be new food/drink materials added with IC DLC?

    Yes. I think there will be fragments of new xyvkyn (spelling ?) and the other new styles materials that come with DLC that will drop with woodworking/blacksmithing/clothing writs.

    I didn't save the writs' rewards boxes but stopped doing the writs and spared the mats instead. Might be the wrong approach but I gambled that mats' prices for writs would skyrocket with the update.

    There will be level 15 enchants and food and drinks too, but I doubt that will be related to writs : lvl15 potency runes will be farmable in imperial city, for potions the water will be different for VR10 potions (water farmable in Craglorn) and VR15 potions (Lorkhan's tears, farmable in IC). As to provisioning, there will be new VR15 recipes, maybe they will drop with writs, maybe they won't, I don't know. My guess is they will drop in IC chests and bags only. But there will be no new provisioning ingredient as far as I know.

    Are ppl aware of the power difference in weapons from v15 to v16? Its quite big compared to the difference between say v14 to v15.

    It doesn't take much to read patch notes.

    Crafting Writt crates contain a (low) chance of a fragment of the new Glass Armour Motif (about 7% from my experience)


    The crates themselves will not drop the style materials, Glass style comes from lock pick chests (and map chests) about 90% chance from a chest with a map much lower otherwise.

    Dirty new daedra style material you will have coming out of your ears from disenchanting the vr16 gear

    I just deconstructed all saviors, ebon, worm cult, vr12 trials gear, some COA gear, and some uselsess monsters shoulders. Also decon all vr12 staffs you find around dungeons. It felt good, so much space :-D. I will never need it anyway. Who wants a frost staff with 3 set bonus spell ressist? Ok its nice it have double enchant and its rare, but for other then the collection part, I think these things are useless. I hope I made the right choise here. I also got a friend of mine to do the same things. If Im not right about this I need to hide somewhere :O haha

    Save your treasure maps. These may also give chance for malachite pieces.

    The VR 15 recipes only drop from the bags when your character opening them is 15+ (from my experience)

    So make sure you do a single quest to make that important level before opening them....

    (assuming your character is VR14 when IC drops of course)

    Enchanting has a chance to drop new stuff and alchemy can drop the VR 15 water




    Basically do not open the crates now, wait.

    It may mean spending a few hundred k on bank space for all 7 craft alts as well as your main, but its worth it.

    Best way to prepare is to roll a sorc or nightblade, then go around 1 shotting ppl.

    You cant bank crates but you can bank everything else.

    On some of my characters Im already at the point where I need to run to do each Writ separately in order to have the space to actually have enough space to make the items.

    Handing them in will be a pain as I will get loads of the craft map locations stopping me removing the empty crates from my inventory.
