Hi All,

New to the forums and new to this type of game (although not this series)

I am having serious issues finding a decent group of people to group with for dungeons, having issues that i am sure are not uncommon such as people not listening, not resurrecting and if they fail at a boss just leaving the group rather than working together to find a solution.

I suppose the answer would be to get into a decent and active guild so that i can regularly find people to group with, however how to do that is not exactly clear, i think having access to a guild trader would also be quite beneficial as i have saved quite a few set items (although not full sets)

Some tips and advice would be much appreciated.

I am A DK Veteran 6 dominion werewolf.

Second best advice I can give is join a PvE guild or spam zone chat or how I do it roll random PUG groups and make friends to do it later with.

Option 3 is the most fun.

    Welcome!

I presume you are on Console? If so, there is a whole Guild Recruitment forum for each platform/server here: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/categories/guild-recruitment

That should help you find a guild that suits your needs.

Also, if you are on console, there may be a number of people playing who are new to MMOs and are not quite familiar with group mechanics. When I started playing in groups, it took me a bit to get the fine points, but it was a lot of fun once I learned it. A friend who had been playing solo for a long time recently started running dungeons with us and he commented how he had to adjust his style.

So I would assume that with time, people will get better at it. That said, there's always an element of risk in PUGs. I've run with some very good folks, but I've also had friends who had bad experiences. Take note of people you work well with and put them on your friends list. That will help.

Well, that's where the majority of new players are right now :) and the greatest number of these types of questions come from them.
Would be nice if people would specify or put it in their sig but...*shrug

Because the lack of text chat on console makes it difficult for people to communicate and find a guild and/or a group.

Because on PC/Mac zone chat is full of people looking for groups and guilds, and guilds and groups looking for members, that noone would think of asking such a question here since ingame it's quite obvious due to many people looking for such things in zone chat.

As you progress, so will others, and later on people are more apt to understand game etiquette. But just as a suggestion, check out the in game achievement menu. It is a decent guide on everything there is to do in the world and your faction.

Why do some people automatically assume people are on console?

    Communication issues = console

Console version shouldn't be called an mmo
