When will my nord dk learn to have a drink with his food?
Even if the regen doesn't reinforce what I've already eaten such as max stamina (food buff) and stam regen (drink buff). Let me eat some beef and sip a cordial tea. my Nord tells me all the time he would rather be hungry than thirsty and i frankly agree with him but tell him all the time you have to make choice until you can learn to feast as a Nord should feast

✭✭Sorry to derail this honestly funny topic with realities. Rest assured, I was having several good lols irl
Back to topic, I really think that the game has grown beyond the implementation of food + drink. Without softcaps, having both active at the same time would require both values (food as well as drink) to be reduced significantly. It would then become mandatory to use both at the same time, removing one more build-specific decision.
All in all, I do think that it would be a seriously bad idea to implement this.Edited by Leandor on August 24, 2015 9:20AM5

he'll only get the drink buff from the tea if his pinky is pointing out, physically impossible for nords0 -

Only by technicality. Bruma, Belkarth, Balmora, Mournhold, Alcaire, Anvil... yeah, he tends to wake up in some weird places.

Nords refuse to conform to the common etiquette with their pinkies but my Nord assures me he can still be extended an invitation to the feasts as he is not as grotesque an eater as those vile orcs. He wants to be bursting through the seams of his arm cops with sustenance in Cyrodiil. Not pushing aside enemy menders and guards while taking resources trying to find a well for a sip of liquid. He is unable to perform the task at hand malnourished.0

✭✭✭✭✭In all seriousness, they talked about combining food and drinks into "meals" back before 1.6 was on PTS. In the end, they ramped up the regen from drinks, and dropped the idea of having both at once.0 -
