So are we all Ok with some of the Sorcs builds doing 20k instant hits and having 20k shields?

Yes, people in general today are more sociopathic, more ape-like competitive, have shorter attention spans, and care less about quality over quantity, (by-product of growing up stuffed with capitalist propaganda) but there is also ZOS's terrible design to consider. Both play a role.

I do not know what sorcs you hang with and I play one and will tell you... If you are not trying to harry potter it and actually know what the _blank_ you are doing.. Sorcs can hang if not out DPS most other classes.

For those who build to max dps and gave up defense and survival abilities, and those coward focus aim spammer who don't know how to fight in close combat, yes they deserve being one hitted by overload. That's 99% of current PS4 population.

Btw, those 2 spells can be reflected, at the time you killed by overload/frag, the sorc killed himself serveral times by reflect already.

My point exactly, it's always some vague "sorcs put out some of the most damage in pve", never backed up by facts, dps charts, loadouts or anything. Overload glitch doesn't count since that's getting taken out

And this is the main reason pretty much everyone has a reflect skill on 1 bar, when i see a sorc with my templar i istant cast "total dark" with my dk i spam the flappy wings and with my nb i have "Defensive Stance" always up.

Is awesome to see sorcerers suicide with their op skills.

Hmm, yes that is high damage, but you're still complaining about a spell that is pretty much only used after its 35% chance to proc, and an Ultimate. If frags could be spammed like force shock, that'd be a different story. I wonder why the overload light attacks were so different in damage. Can't say I've ever seen a 20k one hit before.. were you buffed and wearing armour at the time?

Also, wheres the 20k shield? If you want to be even close to that dmg u need to focus all in magicka, so u ill have around 18k HP, which means the DK shield will be around 6k.

regarding your shields in the forum somewhere is a pic of a DK with over 90k points of shields, sorcs are the kings of the shields noone is denying that but the other classes are only ~10% behind in the total possible value.

to be able to reach those numbers you have an extreme limited amount of magica reg as you have to stack every possible magica and spelldmg bonus possible and absolutly no reg set bonus. on top the CF must be instant proced and empowered by might of the guild in combination with magica inflation by mage light and bound armor wich can only be used in a usefull build if you are cheating by activating them on your overloadbar and bugging them over to the other bars (wich in itself should never be a balancing reason anyway) or you were fighting a emperor sorc.

so those dmg values are far far from normal values. can they happen sure, but i can push my heavy destro/bow attacks on my DK up to 30k dmg aswell while beeing nearly dmg immune...

but once again that is only due to a completly overpowered overload dmg - personly i would like to have abilities enpair with other classen than 99%% of our skills being 60% behind other classes a bilities and one totally out of whack as compensation...

I read it, i played it. Sorcs are at the top on pvp and pve dps. Even though dmg has been nerfed, shields too and heals too. Sorcs still has the top burst, top dps and biggest shields. Compared to laughable DK/Templar shields, Sorc shields are 3x bigger

sorc 20k shield? I seriously doubt it man. Im pretty focused into boosting my shield with nearly 100 points spent into bastion cp and 36k magicka and im just breaking 15k on my hardened ward. 20k, I doubt its even possible. 20k dmg crystal fragment? same as before, I have 2.2k spelldmg and 36k magicka, I have once since 1.6 managed to get a 19k fragment in pvp, wich was bugged with double procced instant cast. Nowadays that dmg is usually around 11-12k if I also have motg up.

That said, there are people exploiting this game to get higher dmg and shields, its not only sorcerors either, nothing else to do but report it and hope ZOS does the right thing.

Oh such a shame, i dont have the screenshot hear to show you. But yes, overload sorcs has the highest dps ingame, and in the pts, they have it by faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar, y mean, faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar.

In fact since those are Magic type attacks, light armor shuoldnt be that bad.

Also, are you saying, that is ok to basicly one shot ppl because they use light armor? And also saying that is ok that the class that does that also has 20k spammeable shields? K...

as i said it boils all down to overload - sorcs are absolutly craptastic DPS wise without it wich i feel should not be the case to rely on only one ability ad beeing worthless if its not availeable for whatever reason.

the only 20k instant dmg wath you can do as a DK is Meteor/Dawnbraker/Dragon Leap, all this are ultis

Hello there, oh men, you dont have a clue, im detest, hate gank type builds with all my heart. This builds only became really usefull in 1.6.

I can assure you, i dont play that type of build, never will, and i hate that ESO pvps its was leaning that way in 1.6. Thanksfully some of that changes in 1.7.

So no, thats not my case, i play a balanced build.

About reflection, yes, so? A lot of skills are reflectable, but not every class has a reflection skill. Yes, i know sword/board has one, but WHY every single person should use s/b just because Sorcs has ridiculouse dmg/defense? It makes no sense that because you dont use 1 specific weapon or skill you should be 1 shotted. Thats not excuse. If that were the case, let the Templars and DKs get 1 shots habilities too that can be countered by some specific weapon.... that will be a fun pvp... im suere....
