ESO Vampires hate face paint?

I recently turned my character into a vampire and started to feel like something was different with his appearance. No, it wasn't the ashen grey skin or the red eyes. It was bothering me until I realized his black war paint around his eyes was gone. Now there is just a couple of lines under his eyes that was the outline of the war paint.

Has anyone else noticed this with their vampire characters and is there a fix? I really liked the war paint around his eyes.

Could be worse could be like twilight.

But maybe it's your character saying he doesn't like it and has washed it off when you logged out ^^

It really is an injustice and should be top priority for a fix. He has to look good.

I can live without the sparkles, but not the war paint.

So this game has that bug as well, Skyrim had the same issue with paint and vampires thank goodness for the unofficial patches. Hope they fix it I don't use paint but can see how this will be annoying

I remember a thread about this quite awhile ago.
Agree, not much point in picking out those tatoos and paint the way it is. I'm also not a fan of the blue veiny skin, great way to make a character ugly in a flash.
It could def use an aesthetic reworking.

I would love to see a toggle for the vamp appearance. I really do not like how bad it looks especially on 4th stage. I know Swtor had one for sith appearance. You could still look normal even though you were corrupted.

I'm curious what happens to the skull-paint or mephala-paint styles on a vampire.

On 'bareskin' characters, the paleness is fine, but warpaint and fur (and probably scales as well) should not change at all. Facial and head hair doesn't. A black-furred khajiit should technically remain black all over, with only nose leather and paw pads showing any loss of colour.

This should have had a bit more thought at the beginning, methinks!
