Install_ESO will not open
I recently bought a new Macbook pro 2015 and wanted to install ESO on it as I used to have it on my PC. However it has no disc drive and so I have to download the "Install_ESO" file from the website. The problem is that whenever I try and open said file, it simply opens a small blank window and then gives me the "Install_ESO has quit unexpectedly". Someone please help! It's driving me insane and I can't find any useful info online.

Thanks for letting me know that's still not working properly! We have had some similar reports, and at this time the best way to get ESO:TU installed fresh on a new Mac is to use the following link:
patcher.elderscrollsonline.com/products/BNA_Launcher/TESO_OSX.dmg
This will download the unpacked Launcher installation to circumvent the Java errors due to the scaling issues on newer Macs.
Please be sure to let us know if there are any problems with this workaround!
