And when you have crowns saved up.

Basically just realised I bought all this last night

The black fiery horse mount
Jester suit
Daedric Motif
Mount speed lesson x1
Stealthy Rogues pack

That's around 6000 crowns down the pan and I'll probably not even use most of them. Felt so good buying this at the time, now regretting it. Hahaha

I was a bit far gone. Went to the crown store tonight and realised I only had 50 crowns left and then I remembered having a field day in the crown store last night.

Wait so you were drunk enough to make stupid purchases that you were unaware of til today yet you were able to read words and play video games??
Any time I got drunk enough to lose my wits I also lost my vision and motor skills.

I used to play a game which had an achievement for getting something like on one character 1,337,000 XP without a single death.

One day I logged into that character while very drunk because I was convinced I could finish the achievement that night (I was very close). My guild leader threatened to kick me out the guild and report me for abuse to get me banned if I didn't switch characters immediately, before leaving the 'safe zone'. To this day I'm glad she did.

Was this in Guild Wars 1 by any chance?

    Consider yourself lucky.

Far , far worse things can occur when you drink too heavily but still are standing.

It's a big TV and if there's one thing on console ESO does excel at, it's large icons and oversized text. As for initially forgetting, yeah because I'm also on medication [diazepam] from back surgery, that help with the muscle spasms and coupled with drink, your memory tends to be a lot more hazy than normal the next day.

Even without the medication I had drank so much I would have still made the purchases. The only difference - I would have remembered. Jeez, it's like being 15 again having to explain my actions to my parents. Suppose it does fit in with the title though, so fair do's.

Well one argument is that there is not too much real "reading" going on in this game especially on console only listening hard so you don't miss something especially if you already have your build made.

Well, technically kids can drink under adult supervision with their guardian's consent (at least in the N.I, not sure about elsewhere)

Well, given some of the things I've woken up to regret after drinking, spending a few $ on a video game would be a welcome surprise instead of something to feel bad about! By the way, you have seen what you posted on the forum, right? ;)
