As a 40+ guy who hates the sissified younger generation of today.
Good.
No participation trophies , there should be losers in contesst , and if you want the damn trophy earn it.
Get off my lawn while we're at it.

So 0.1% of the player base will ever get to become emperor especially when UK players like me are playing on NA servers, how is it fair that you have to quit your job and no life the game at 5am in the morning 24/7 on the lowest pop faction to try and get a chance to become emperor, no its utterly tarded.

I actually a few weeks ago got enough AP to become emp, 1st on the server, only because I played a lot just pvping, taking stuff, pvp quests etc etc. Now I was a new comer to pvp, not part of any guild or anything just felt like I had never tried to go for emp and thought I would see how hard it would be..
A certain pvp guild who were the other top 9 players in that campaign were not happy, they were trying to get their "leader" emperor so they kept griefing me in chat, trolling in groups I was in etc etc, trying to get me kicked from groups constantly, follow me everywhere to try and stop me getting AP, even logged on alts in other faction to try to gank me, and then whisper me to try and get me to rage quit.
Every time our server went to try and take the last 2 castles I needed for emp, the pvp guild would just stop playing and stand there trolling in chat and not help take the keeps. They even got their "friends" in other factions to help them stop me getting emperor by telling them when we were attacking, giving them info on me and when we attack, making sure I would get ganked etc.
They even made "deals" with the enemy factions to let them have our scrolls and lets them have certain things to capture to make it harder for our server.
So by now I have a 100,000+ AP lead due to playing 24/7, have well over 350,000 AP, the next day I notice the guy who was 2nd, their "leader" was ahead of me by 50,000 AP within a few hours of him logging back on, even though I had a huge lead. Turns out their guild is best friends with another factions pvp guild and they were "farming ap" off each other to stop me being emp and make sure their leader got 1st place.....
So yeah this happens all the time, their leader did not get emp in the end, they failed to take the last keep needed a few times before the campaign timer ended.
But they basically due to "popularity contest" or just because I was new to pvp and they had been trying more than me and thought I did not "deserve" to be an emperor, they griefed, cheated and sabotaged a player becoming an emperor...
So yeah you can not do it anymore without cheating or farming "friends" or using griefing tactics to stop others getting it, apparently..
After that I decided it was not worth it to try for a 2nd time when there are pvp guilds that hell bent on stopping others and farming the titles for themselves with cheating and other "tactics". Even if you play 24/7, do not sleep and take loads of things, kill loads of players, it will not be enough AP unless you cheat.
Meta gaming, spying, cheating etc is all over ESO pvp now, plus the unbalanced champion points system it sucks.

I'm a trophy hunter and i do plats for games I like, I like ESO so I want to plat it. I also want to be above the common rabble and do everything there is: plats show other people we were dedicated and liked the game. I platted Skyrim to show others that i fully experienced the game while they just blazed through the main quest and then just quitted, shamefull.
The emperor-trophy is a gamble, a pricey gamble that requires a lot of time. even if you play 24/7 there still can be chance you get placed second minutes before the end. I will not put my time in it, period. I'll just enjoy the game. Don't think I'll sit there crying, so be it. Trophies surely aren't everything, but respect is everything. Show us some respect, and stop your nonsense and your judging. An who knows, maybe I'm on a roll in PvP and manage to get the trophy? It would be great, but doesn't need to happen.
How dare you call us no-lifers? come visit me and take a good glimp at the "no-lifer",then ask yourself what stupid life you live.
"When a simple ESO player talks about the difficulty of the emperor trophy no-one bats an eye, but when a trophy hunter talks about it, everyone just loses their minds!"

1. its your choice to play on NA server.
2. whats so achieving in receiving any achievement without commitment?
JacksonCarter13 wrote: »Former emp here. It's unbelieveably sad that you think it is impossible to get emp for what most would argue is the hardest achievement in the game. It's not suppose to be simple or easy you are EMPEROR of the game... It's meant for players who put the time in and pvp and work to be number 1. And honestly emperor is easier than masterfsher, it's a platinum trophy for a reason.

Which would be OK if we could DELETE or Fully Hide games or ALL games on the achievement list. For example i play witcher 3 on PC now, but i had it for PS4, now i will forever have witcher 3 on PS4 with like 2% achievements and will prob never play it on PS4.
Also if you trade or sell a PS4 game you will have xx% and won't ever be able to delete or finish it.

Ok so the only reason i want the plat is because PSN FORCES DOWN YOUR Throat TROPHY'S making you have incomplete games, we don't really have a choice or not when we get to lvl 1 and auto get an achievement or get an achievement for joining a guild or something, so we feel like we have to get them all or forever have a unfinished game plaguing our PSN profiles for everyone to see, they won't let us delete any game from our achievement list unless it's 0% which is next to impossible when most games give you an achievement for turning the game on.
If i could have opted out of getting any ESO trophy i would have but why give us 99% of the trophy's EASY then make the last one a f nightmare to get, you logic is wrong, simple as.

What are you talking about? Have you just made that up or what? First: your answer to my thread is completely irrelevant, you start whining about the fact people can see you haven't played out a game while 9/10 people doesn't give a ***. Who cares I got 1% on fifa 15 ps3 because I played it with my mates once? Do you have a compulsive disorder perhaps? Forcing you to play out every game with a trophy bar? Boohoo.
Second: have you seen the trophies? there is no damn trophy for joining a guild or being lv 1, this is a barebones trophy-game that wants you to play the itat its full extent (and Zenimax have their right).
I played AC IV Black Flag once and was forced to play the hideous multiplayer for the platinum, I didn't do it. i hated the MP so bad and didn't spend hours against my will to get 100% but you would have right?
"Want to see a magic trick?" [grabs pencil, Adam_Chattaway comes watching and starts telling gibberish] [Joker slams his head on the pencil] "TADA, it's gone!"
