Yup, I accepted the daily veteran pledge, entered group finder as I always do, knowing full well that the only chance in hell I have of finding a group is to start messaging people through the PSN, and then within 20 minutes...POP...I'm in a well balanced group thanks to the group finder. And we did it! Everybody turned up, and did the dungeon.
Maybe I should have taken screenshots, but you'll have to take my word for it. Group finder found a group.

Nahz✭✭✭Out of curiosity, did you queue as more than one role?
I try to use the group finder whenever I'm doing pledges, and I typically queue as both healer and dps to indicate I can fill either role. I try to switch it up every few days so I can test whether it's better to queue as two roles or only one.
If a group leader checks off healer and dps roles for one of the party member slots, does that mean the system will search for someone who specifically checked off both of those roles; or will it attempt to fill that slot with someone who checked off at least one of those roles in their own menu? With those same settings, well it completely ignore someone who marked dps as well as tank?
Unfortunately, I have not gotten a group using the group finder since long before 1.6; so I cannot attempt to answer any of those questions.
I play on PC, so there could be a whole different set of bugs affecting our group finders; I'm mostly just curious.Nahz - VR16 Sorcerer

OldeDevlin✭✭I only selected Dps, although im fairly sure that if you select more than one role, it'll use you for any group that's looking for one of those (in theory).

✭What, you lucky argh! perhaps it only works for vets in addition to getting everything good they get to find groups for group required dungeons, not one person wants to venture with a 20 even if they are level 20.PS4 NA

OldeDevlin✭✭It happened again! Kind of. It found a group, except it gave us two tanks, and when one of them left, it put him back in again. Anyway, once he left for the second time I invited a dps, and we had a full group, and we did thr dungeon!
Sure, today it was Group-ish Finder, but it's better than the nothing it'd been providing for the last two months.1 -
