Barber Shop

i think this game needs barber shops so that we can change hair, beard and hair colors. it should be simple even wow has it. since we can even change our entire armor colors also it would be nice to unlock new hair styles and hair colors by achivements just as we do with the armor dyes, since the character creation is so detalied and every player looks unique it should ne a nice addition

Yes, it is sorely needed, and yes, it is coming. it just needs to come sooner rather then later...

Race changes have also be mentioned as beung worked on - no wonder, people are willing to spend crowns on this, would be foolish of them not to let them...

Name change could be added as well, yes. Or it could be done with an extra NPC in your faction capital who for a small bag of crowns will "update your records" with a new name...

So will I... mostly on small details I want to adjust to make my characters "perfect"... a namechange or two to better fit the fluff (my orc alt might have been raised by elves from her current name... because I just made her as crafting alt and didn't spend enough thought on her...), a hip shape here, a hand shape there, a change of voice here, a adornment adjustment there... that sort of things.

And I expect there are quite a few people who would buy that for a handful of crown... or a few crowns more...

I want at least ONE free barber shop use on all characters though. Or just one free use on one account as a whole. Because I dont want to spend crowns on just fixing my arm or hand real quick.

Would be nice, but is very unlikely to happen. They need to pay their server costs after all, so after the game going BtP, expect them to monetize whatever they can. Best we can hope for is that they maaayyyyybe will let us do "everyday" changes like hairstyle and makeup for gold and only charge crowns for the "structural" changes.

In fact, I personally would like most if they split those two into two different mechanics...

...have a "barbershop" stand in every major city, much like the dye station, where you can change hairstyle, makeup and adornments for a mere gold cost (and sell new style options for those in the crown store)...

...and have a "plastic surgery provider" hidden in some outlaw refugee or perhaps even better in coldharbour, who for a crown cost lets you change all the rest, from voice to shape, from gender to race. Preferably not with a large fixed cost, but with a small cost per slider changed, and a larger cost for othe changes (gender, race), culmulative and paid for when pressing the "make it so" button...

...oh, and while at it... also a third one, a clerk in your faction capital who for a small crown fee will "update the official records" with a new name...

Just because you chose racials and a stupid name doesn't mean you can get out of it.... without paying in real world cash. Crown store

There was a facesculpter NPC in the Skyrim DLC dawnguard that can do just that. I suppose adding token to redesign character appearance like a respec skill and attributes wouldn't be too hard to implement.

oh yeah I want my altmer girl make a huge braid of orange and blue colour!!!
