How come Invisibility for nightblades doesn't seem to work half the time in PVP? I go invisible and people/guards can still attack me. What gives? Isn't this the whole thing that's supposed to make nightblades playable? It really pisses me off, because nightblades are my only vet character and they're so sucky in any combat that lasts longer than a second.

✭✭✭Players can wildly fire projectile attacks if they think a player is hiding nearby and if it hits it can give you away. Invisible doesn't mean ethereal after all.
Invisibility does work properly against other players but NPCs detect you far better than players can. You can be 3 feet away from a player and still be hidden but come anywhere within 300 feet of an NPC and you're busted. You CAN go invisible to briefly escape but 2.5 seconds isn't good enough when it comes to NPCs. Spamming it to prolong it may help against players but not NPCs since it drains your Magicka quickly. Invisibility Potions last longer but the cooldown prevents spam. Only those using Jewelry with the Alchemist Enchantment on it that reduces cooldown can hope to do so.Guildmaster of Power With Numbers in PS4 NA Server's Aldmeri Dominion.
