Didn't ZOS say that the reason we couldn't get an Arena was because it would kill the Cyro pop? I may be wrong, but to my knowledge that was one of the main reasons ZOS kept denying it. Now the question is, isn't Imperial City going to render Cyro a ghostmap anyways? Since there is no longer gated access to IC, why should anyone give a *** about keeps anymore? Of course there's the scorerboard, but does the average player really even care about winning/losing a campaign? I'd imagine that most people only care about engaging in fights and killing other players.
I'm just saying if the Cyro pop does indeed disappear due to IC release, then ZOS really has no excuse anymore to deny an Arena. I just hope they put it on the table after realizing they're running out of excuses as to why it can't happen. Doesn't have to be any time "Soon", but it would be nice to have an Arena in the next pvp update.

LOL, ZOS never said anything like that, because it would be admitting that most players hate the Zerg-versus-Zerg gameplay they designed so painstakingly.
No, that idea is just a myth that is repeated from time to time by AvA diehards who like to scold the unwashed masses who would LOVE 1v1 duelling or 2v2/4v4 arena matches.

An arena for small scale 1-on-1 or 4-vs-4 fights might be an option. And if the imperial city wasn't completely daedra-overrun, they could have added it there... as it is, the gladiatorial games there are currently cancelled due to daedric influence. But... there used to be an arena in Kvatch as well if I recall my lore right... so... someday, when they add the colovian highlands... perhaps...0 -

still plenty of room for expansion inside of Cyrodiil for more 1 v x style tho0
