If you are trying to get there quick.... do the faction main story only.

My Sorc made gold at VR3-4 and my DK is in gold at VR1

To be honest, I started Cadwells Silver at level 49, by the time I complete Silver and Gold Completing the Tamriel Hero achievement requirements by doing the set amount of quests in each area I was Vet 8, this was without grinding. I'm now atm Vet 11 from a couple days of grinding quests in Cyrodill (achieved Tamirel Hero title) and now I'm grinding it out, to be fair, Cyrodill PVE quests were really quick leveling.

My advice, just level through the quests, don't skip any (other than group quests)

see I skipped vet 1 area because I was in Caldwell silver at 47 or 48 went straid to vet 2. do grinding the quests out would be a fast way to level I just want to be able to access gold for when my grinding becomes useless in the silver area.

idk what the main story quests are haha. are they the ones that are the requirements for finishing Caldwell silver?

yes.... once you get into a zone it is usually the first quest you come upon. Internet is your friend here ;-)

As long as you are within 5 levels of the mobs you are getting full XP

This is not true at VR

    3 ranks and under = 100%
    4 ranks = 75%
    5+ ranks = 30%

see I don't look stuff up on the net normally. unless like last night I was told my grinding would fade due to not being able to go to silver unless I unlock it haha

see that's what I thought I read somewhere but couldn't verify it. and that would make my grinding dwindle o barely nothing if I didn't unlock gold as well
