I've been playing an Imperial ever since, not because of the racial passives but due to the awesome racial style and their lore and all the stuff around them. It just felt cool to play a race that is only obtainable by purchasing it, not to mention reading "Imperial Dragonknight" for some reason sounded cool, lol.
Also it was easier to take Imperial since they don't belong to any alliance and back at the time I had no reason to join any of the factions.

Now I'm an Aldmeri Sorcerer and I love it and regret the fact that I haven't done this sooner. My Imperial DK got to VR8 and had many other Imperial DK's before and after and it just grew tiring to me. Imperials and Altmers are therefore my most favorite races. And least favorite might be Redguards, they are just boring IMO - lore and apperance wise. Also Orsimer aren't really much of a thing to me, same as Redguards.

But I'd really want to see some more of Aldmer and the Nedic people, to have some quest that puts you back in the time and you could see the Nedes, Aldmer, all the races of Merethic era.

I'm sure when the game first came out all the skyrim people flocked to the nord. But My guess would be that a good amount of them rerolled.

I personally can't stand the nord. When I played skyrim I always chose imperials for the civil car and murdered every dumb stormcloak I saw. Made a nord once to see the story line on their side, quit at level 10.

Both more popular than poor Redguards though.

Should have been titled "What is YOUR Most Preferred Race" because most popular doesn't necessary mean the ones WE choose to play.

For Sorcerer- Altmer

For NB- Imperial or Redguard

For DK- Dunmer

For Templar- People still play Templars?!? j/k

I prefer the Breton or Imperial if we're talking about appearances... unfortunately, I could not even bring myself to choose a Breton for my Sorc because of the disparity in racial passives with Altmer. My NB is an Imperial though... and loving that decision!
