Quality of life change for Werewolf Transformation ultimate which could be great

Hi everyone, I'm not sure certain if this has been suggested or not, but ZoS is giving Werewolf extra armor and spell resist in Werewolf form, this tell us that they're working on Werewolf so I have a suggestion related to Lycanthropy.

I believe a QoL change similar to this would make players that play around Lycanthropy more comfortable and less restricted.

Suggestion; Werewolf Transformation is a toggle which costs 300 once morphed [I'm not certain on cost, please correct me if possible].

What does this mean?

This means Werewolf Transformation has the same functionality as Overload - It's a toggle which drains ultimate upon cast instead of upon light and heavy attacks, toggling it off, functions the same as on live by removing you from Werewolf form.

This means that ultimate you gain in Werewolf form, will not be drained from de-toggling Werewolf Transformation.

Anywhoo, so something similar to this or whatever I think could be a nice QoL change, what does everyone else think? Suggestions, thoughts and feelings?

All the best.

So basically allow ultimate generation and give players the time to do anything of value in wolf form outside of grinding trash mobs and spamming the heal? I would love to see zos try that. And you are correct, at level 4 and morphed it cost 300 base.

Yeah, I think simply allowing ultimate generation would be a cool and worthwhile change.

It's a small change, but it would be great because I can't remember the last time did any ZoS changes, think Battle Spirit healing going from -15% to -50%.

We could then see if Lycanthropy is in a good spot or not really quick with such a small change too. Right now they feel strong and good, gameplay wise - but the whole ultimate being lost doesn't make sense, small skirmishes here and there, you'll probably exit Werewolf form with 50, maybe 100 ultimate or whatever, which helps.

Would that be in replacement of the Devour passive, which essentially allows unlimited WW in the right conditions?

I was imagining Werewolf to function exactly the same as it does now, except you keep ultimate you gain with WW form.

It's a really weird ability, you use Werewolf Transformation, then if you use it again you revert back to 'normal' form. Except any ultimate you gained during that period within the wolf form is removed.

So it looks like it's a toggle already, except it isn't, it's awkward; I just read over CP5's toggle thread in his signature too, maybe they're unable to 'fix' Werewolf form's toggle ability due to a problem with the code, the only person who knew how to fix it left ZoS so now if they do anything to it, it breaks so they have to troubleshoot the whole thing or something?

Absolutely no idea, but it's strange.

They are fixing that in the IC update. Hitting ultimate again will not take you out of WW form.

Wait, that was a bug!? I thought that was intended to you could run behind a rock, transform back into 'normal' form because it's the best decision to make in combat at the time.

    Well then, today I learnt.

They fixed the problem if you double tap. I don't think this prevents early reverts but it stops you from ending the transformation before it plays. Correct me if i'm wrong, haven't been on pts to check.

Correct double tap is fixed, also it takes less time for you to transform into a werewolf...
