Spells bouncing off enemies!

Hi all,

I've moved into Rivenspire (I'm a lvl 19 sorcerer) and most of my spells seem to either miss or bounce off enemies. Is this something to do with a low spell damage (402) vs the enemy's spell resistance? Cheers.

    What lvl are mobs in rivenspire, if your too low lvl you'll miss most of your attacks.
    PS4 EU DC

    Current CP : 756+

    I have every character level 50, both a magicka and stamina version.

    RIP my effort to get 5x v16 characters...

    Between 25-30. When I hit them I do OK it's just not often I hit!

    yeah your too low lvl, go back a zone and do quests and such.

    It's an ability called defensive stance, this reflects spells, a player can find it on the sword and shield tree, hope this answers your question.
